It’s very dirty inside of the room. It seems that a cleaner never cleans the room, A LOT of insects were inside of my room when I came to the hotel, I had to ask for disinfection, and after that all the dead incests were all over my floor, nobody cleaned it. Nobody changed towels, I had to ask for it on reception. Nobody changed the sheets on the bed. I was horrified when I saw how much dust there was on visible surfaces. Also everyday I could feel the smell of mold and humidity. When it’s raining, it’s impossible to leave the territory on foot, the parking is flooded with water. In addition, the last small detail: when I was leaving the hotel and had already ordered taxi, staff told me they need to check the room before I leave and I was waiting for it. A cleaner who never actually cleaned the room checked it and told me it’s okay to leave, that was very strange and unpleasant in the end of my 5 day trip to Bali. I really wanted to leave this hotel as soon as possible even though I love Bali so much. This is the worst place I’ve ever been on Bali.

Arrived on a Friday for a four day mini break to relax. I am a solo traveller so after my evening meal I like to go back to my room and watch TV before sleeping. The room is beautiful, as is the outdoor bathroom… full marks there. However it’s really not practical, the TV doesn’t work, so I requested a new room, but NONE of the TV’s work! There is also no Wardrobe, no drawers, no mirror in the room and no hairdryer as listed. (Even if there was a mirror the room is so dark you cannot put your makeup on). There is a mirror in the bathroom, but it’s an outdoor bathroom and very dark, and no where to put your makeup on whilst applying, also too many mosquitoes to stay in there, I have been bitten to death (usually if you tell a hotel there’s mosquitoes in your room they spray the room for you). The provide a mosquito net, by way of a curtain around the poster bed, but it’s got that many holes it’s totally ineffective. There are 2 sockets in the room, both 14 ft away from the bed! I managed to get an extension lead, but not ideal. So yesterday I went out sightseeing and today I planned to spend at the pool and have a massage. I’ve just been told (on Sunday morning) that I cannot use the pool as they have an event today (thanks)! And if I wanted a massage I needed to book a week in advance! I requested to speak to the manager on Friday night, and I’m still waiting…. I’m told maybe tonight… all in all a very disappointing stay! I have asked the staff for help with things on three occasions and each time they nod and walk away and don’t come back. Summary is that the room is beautifully done, not practical at all unless you don’t need electricity and want to live out of your suitcase! Would not recommend this hotel .

My boyfriend and I booked a deluxe double room for 3 nights. We arrived in the afternoon and were shown to our room. The photos on the booking site showed spacious, bright rooms in a charming, garden environment. The reality was an extremely dark, depressing room, that only had daylight if you open up the shutters which can't be opened unless you are tall enough to reach the piece of wood holding them closed. Apart from the room, the whole resort was dingy, with very slippery stepping stones, covered in moss, a dangerous narrow canal that you have to cross to reach the pool entrance, which we found was locked from the inside. The location of the accomodation is far from everything in Canggu and is on an extremely busy street that has no pedestrian walkway and is dangerous to cross. We disliked it so much that we forfeit the first night's payment in order to leave.
