location was not so good. but there was free shuttle van to restaurants and market. Service was excellent. Pool was clean, breakfast is awesome. highly recommend to rent a scooter to go markets.

We had a wonderful stay at Stanagiri Luxury Retreat Ubud. Our villa and private pool exceeded our expectations, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Wishing to come back soon and we will stay there again. Highly recommend!

1. The hotel is in a bad location, 2 hours drive from the city
2. It is a self-built house in the countryside, and there is not even a front desk!! Check-in is done in the room. . I have lived in hotels for decades, and I have never seen anything like this
3. I went there to see the terraced fields, but the rice seedlings were just planted, and I could only see mud
4. The sanitary conditions are very poor, the filter turned yellow after a few hours of replacement, the bedside table was full of dust, and the washbasin was also dust
5. The mattress is very bad, and it is concave when you sleep on it
6. Such a bad hotel is really unacceptable. Ctrip negotiated a refund but they still refused. Fortunately, I bought insurance myself. I moved out decisively after staying for one night. We dared not eat the food delivered in the morning. Be careful with children, it is too easy to get sick in such a place.

The security is not good. There is a rice field next to the swimming pool. Anyone can climb the wall to enter.

Stayed for 3 days in one of the villa, we could say they are HUGE! we got 3 rooms with a private pool next to the rice field amenities are SUPER! Just in case you're looking for a "near everywhere" place, maybe it's not a good choice But they can offer you bike rental which helps you to explore surround (Batur/Kintamani, Ubud) area easier Since the concept of the villa is "natural" pls do expect some bugs and unwanted animals invasion sometimes :) Staffs are so helpful & nice!
