Staff were fantastic and couldn't be more helpful, arranging laundry and drivers for us. The property is right on the beach and it's very quiet and relaxing.

We just loved our beach front bungalow! It was so much fun just to go in the water in front of our bungalow and discover all those fish and corals. We read that it was like swimming in an aquarium and it was! No other way to describe the feeling. I suggest you spend at least a few days here so you can explore the area. We spent 3 days and the best visibility was on the 3rd day. We didn’t go on a boat tour, we just snorkeled in front our place for three days. Breakfast is included and they bring it to your bungalow or by the pool/sea. We felt very lucky to have found this place. There is only 2 beachfront bungalows. The other bungalows are a little higher and maybe not as quiet. The only thing I would change is the bed: we like a hard mattress but this one felt more like a futon than a real mattress. We would still come back because we really enjoyed the place. We were off season so we could walked to restaurants around since traffic was not so bad. We went to the See you again restaurant about 10 minutes walk and we really enjoyed the food and especially the view over the beach in Amed.

We stayed 3 nights and wished we had stayed more. Sure, it is not 5 star, but you are not paying 5 star prices. We booked an ocean view bungalow and these are perfectly located right by the pool and you get stunning ocean views from your front porch. So peaceful and serene with the sound of crashing waves at night! Because the resort is so small, there is no hassle over loungers, you are very private and can just relax. Breakfast can be delivered to your room or by the pool if you want and as per other reviews, it is totally adequate. The restaurant serves basic but tasty meals so you don't even have to leave if you don't want. The rooms are large, showers hot, plenty of storage and the bed not too hard (unlike others we have stayed in Bali). Yes, it is a little isolated but for us, that was part of its charm - no traffic noise, no music from nearby pubs! We would not hesitate to book again!

We stayed 2 nights at Bali Dream House as part of our honeymoon. We were in Amed primarily for Scuba diving, and weren't as interested in luxury accommodations as on other parts of our honeymoon. The Amed area in general doesn't seem to have as many luxury type accommodations as other parts of Bali. Even though Bali Dream House was one of the more expensive options in the area, it still did not have as many amenities as hotels in other parts of Bali. We enjoyed the location was just close to the "downtown" area of Amed, and walkable to several restaurants, although we wouldn't recommend walking anywhere, especially at night as there are no sidewalks and the roads are narrow and very dark. The pool was nice and we ate breakfast right on the beach and went for a beach walk from the property, which butts up right to the sand. While the rooms were air conditioned, the placement of the air conditioner in our room made it so that the entire room couldn't get as cool as we would have liked. The breakfast options were limited and not the highest quality breakfast, but was more or less what we were expecting at this type of hotel. It was included in the price and did the job of filling us up before our day. Overall we would recommend Bali Dream house because it seemed to be as nice or nicer than several of the hotels around, but it is a bit sparse in terms of amenities compared to other hotels in Bali.

We stayed 3 days in this magnificent hotel, the staff really takes great care of the customers and is exceptionally kind. The breakfast is delicious. The rooms are large and very clean. I highly recommend Laurence.

We had booked seafront accommodation and "garden view" accommodation because there were no longer two "sea view" accommodations available. When we arrived, the manager gave us the keys to bungalow 2 (seafront) and 6 (the bungalow stuck along the road, opposite the reception and kitchens). The manager immediately apologized for giving us bungalow 6, which was extremely noisy (motorcycle parking 2 meters behind) and told us that he would change the room for the second night. OK...so indeed the room with sea view (n°2) is heavenly. Magnificent view, quiet...3 meters from the swimming pool and 10 m from the beach (black sand and pebbles, but clean beach and really superb for snorkeling at high tide, so in the morning). On the other hand, the other rooms (3 to 6) with garden view are of no interest. Barking of the neighbor's dogs all night (they are obviously locked in a cage), bungalows against each other... blah blah. Conclusion: the “sea” bungalows, 1 and 2, are magnificent. Go there, it's really great. The bungalows with garden view have no interest, REFUSE NUMBER 6 opposite reception, the highest. Right in front of the hotel, there is a small restaurant which displays a large backpacker ad. It is indeed very very good and not expensive, they can even deliver to the hotel by the pool. The garden is very well maintained, the same goes for the hot swimming pool with a sublime view of the sea. Did not like · bungalow 6, which should not be rented.

Rented the sea view room (on their website, cheaper than by Booking or other) Very nice room, very comfortable, very nice bathroom. The swimming pool right in front and the sea 30m away. Wifi ok. Very quiet. Lovely staff and breakfast on our terrace. All very well maintained. The dream. But some negative points: The other rooms are less nice, the restaurant not great (go to Galanga 500m away, great 👍) For snorkeling, choose Jemeluk beach (about 1 km) an arc-shaped beach, protected from the waves and easy and nice for snorkeling) Amed is still an authentic place far from the crowds of Ubud or Dempasar.

Very nice little hotel. Only 6 villas. Lovely young and very helpful staff. Cleanliness. Corals, fish right at the doorstep. No boats on the beach, which is rare for Amed.
