The Pramana Watu Kurung is a resort which owned by Balinese. The staff there is very friendly, the whole villa ambience and also the scene is marvellous. For the complimentary breakfast, they are all delicious and localised, that is really worth it! Thanks to the manager mr. Ode, who share a lot of information to us including the Bali culture and how the Bali villages being structured. Locations: quite out of the way. Nearby not many eateries. Breakfast was good. Views from the restaurant was amazing and staff was friendly and nice too. Everything was good except prices were a bit overpriced.

Amazing place. We booked the wooden villa. Amazing! The restaurant with the view is perfect for a romantic stay. Only issue: traffic and noise pollution in Ubud. Else, Bali is a paradise

This resort was absolutely gorgeous and luxurious! The Villa room was big and had a lovely pool. They offered a turndown service every night and brought incense for the outside pool area. There was also a coffee machine and TV in the room. The bath had a gorgeous view of the pool and came with bath salt and bubble bath. The restaurant and pool bar overlooks the gorge and river below. The food and drinks were excellent and they had a lot of options for breakfast too. They even offered us a lot of extra ammenities like village tours and free yoga/spa sessions. Perhaps the most outstanding of all was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We only stayed for 4 days and by the end of the second day, multiple staff who walked past us greeted us by name! I've never encountered this anywhere else. An absolute MUST when visiting Ubud, especially for couples looking for a relaxing retreat.

Tucked away in a jungle with a river view, it's a quiet, picturesque retreat, yet only a 15-20 minute drive from the bustling center of Ubud. The staff here are the real stars – always friendly, helpful, and making sure your stay is comfortable. Cleanliness is top-notch throughout the resort, from the well-kept rooms to the communal areas. Morning yoga sessions in the serene surroundings are a highlight, providing a peaceful start to the day. The spa is excellent too, offering a range of relaxing treatments in a tranquil setting. The food and drinks at the hotel were also good, every meal I had was very delicious. Hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to Ubud center, making it easy to explore the area. Ideal for couples, this place offers a romantic and secluded atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Overall, Pramana Watu Kurung offers a wonderful blend of tranquility, comfort, and exceptional service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape in Bali.

A small resort with less than 30 villas. More privacy. Very good service. Breakfast is extremely good. We have yoga every morning. There is only 1 restaurant. We had candle light dinner under the stars, the experience is PERFECT.
