Perissos Echo Beach

Location was fantastic! 5mins walk to La Brisa and Numero Quattro! There was a 24hr convenience store and pharmacy on the main road. A Mexican tacos and pizza place right outside the hotel as well. The staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful!! Will definitely be back in the future. Happy new year!!

The staff is so nice that they refunded us even it’s our fault that we over booked. The location is so near to the beach.

ideally located near Pererenen beach and off the main traffic thoroughfare. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was a delux king room which was clean, modern looking and spacious. The aircon and fridge worked fine. I had to get a staff person to work out the TV for me. Apparently it only has Netflix and Youtube but to access them you have to hotspot connect from your phone. I was okay watching Youtube the first night but my second night I was back to square one so I gave up on it. There was a shelving area for hanging and laying clothes. The table and chair was also useful. The bed had clean linens and was comfortable to sleep in. Power points beside the bed you just had to unplug the side lamp. Lighting was good throughout. The bathroom was a decent size with a shower curtain. The shower had hot water and good pressure. The balcony was a long shared balcony with three other rooms. Each room had a table and two chairs.Nearby was a common area where you could cook food and also had a water dispenser, kettle, blender and fridge. My only negative was having to walk about 300 metres to engage the services of Gojek because of the local taxi mafia.

What's so great about this place is that it's only walking distance to the la brisa club (and the beach), drugstores and many restaurants nearby. If you're willing to walk a little further, u can find a "shopping district" and other clubs. But, the downside is ... the noise 😂. I stayed here from 23rd to 27th Dec and it was raining season! Experiencing a thunderstorm in this place is kinda scary, the doors, the windows, even your bed frame rattling and shaking. You can hear the waves crashing like crazy also the wind knocking your door like crazy. And after the stormy nights, comes the noise from the party 😂. If you can't sleep like a log, then canggu is not for you 😊. This place has a sharing kitchen with refrigerator and all the tools and plates, water dispensers in every floor, a king size bed(it can fit to 3 person if you're slim), the room is big and clean and no stains on the sheets, the AC is working perfectly fine buttttttt the water pressure and heater is kinda annoying and no elevator! Also, bring your own water bottle and toiletries. Overall, if you're on a budget and want to experience canggu, this place is A MUCH BETTER place to stay than others. But if you don't mind spending more, then choose other areas such as ubud. Don't stayed in canggu, every accommodations in canggu have a common problems of noise, parking and traffic. If i want to stay in canggu, i rather stay here again than spending more money but get a shabby place (like my friend's).

The wifi is very slow which was surprising given the other reviews seemed quite good. No way you could do a zoom call here. The room was nicely kept and clean but the bathroom is average with a really stupid shower, moldy curtain, and very minimal hot water. The pool is lovely and the staff were nice.
