Incense Impossible Beach-Adults Only

Incense is a nice boutique property of only very few rooms located around the beautiful garden and pool.We stayed 6 nights in may 2023 in one of the biggest and well appointed bungalows next to the pool with an open air bathroom.The staff is very kind and helpful,also the owner,a lady from Portugal.At that time, so it might be changed now,the breakfast started too late after 8 am and was very restrictive when choosing the a la carte options,however it was good and tasty;my wife always remember their incense bowl.A very special mention to the next door Banana lounge that has a discount agreement for Incenses' customers where the service,the ambiance and the food were amazing.The beach,like other beaches in the area was wavy during high tides and rocky,very shallow,not for swimming during low tides. I did not give Incense the five stars,although I understand that this is a third party issue, because they should be more careful on choosing their partners to transfer their guests.Our requested transfer to Ubud was,to say the less,weird in a noisy "like racing" car driven by a nice young guy with a "valet parking t'shirt".My wife asked if there would be possible that the valet parking "borrowed" that car from another business to make the ride,who Knows?

My husband and I booked Incense Impossible Beach for our honeymoon and I'm so glad that we did. I have to say this is one of those times where the accommodation is even better than the photos! We felt incredibly welcomed, relaxed and completely safe when were staying at Incense. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, plus they made an amazing breakfast for all the guests every morning. The pool, with the cabana and lounges was inviting and we could also order food to be delivered straight to the pool from the restaurant next door. Talk about service! Everything/Everyone is beautiful - the rooms, the pool, the grounds, the people. I would highly recommend that people stay here.

I can’t express just how beautiful this little boutique hotel really is! From the minute we entered the gate and were greeted by Arno the competent manager, to the stunning grounds and beautiful room facing the pool. This is like a little sanctuary you just don’t want to leave. Loved the touch in the bungalow of the dressing room and outdoor shower and the breakfast with choice of 3 scrumptious options with a view over the grounds and out to sea. Such a relaxing atmosphere with the possibility of massages and a lovely pool area to soak & sunbathe in. The owner Carlos stopped by a few times for chats and always had great recommendations for dinner & drinks. In a beautiful quiet area of the island but still walking distance to beaches, restaurants and sunset drinks. All in all a spectacular stay and we will be back for sure some time.
