Total good vibes, the people here are so happy and helpful. The place is very stylish and very well looked after, best bungalow I’ve stayed in. The bathrooms are next level!! The perfect chilled escape. Partners really well with the beach club. The spa is great and the pool for the shacks 10/10.

Unfortunately, my wife and I were unable to stay at this property, so we cannot comment on the rooms or location—only on the service. We had what we believed to be an extraordinary and compassionate reason for canceling our stay. Despite offering valid documentation and personal details regarding our situation, The Shack's management team refused to make any exceptions to their non-refundable policy. After several attempts to resolve the matter, they eventually offered to defer our booking for up to a year. However, as travelers from Canada—like many visitors who don't frequent Bali regularly—this was more of a token gesture than a viable solution. We were extremely disappointed by the lack of flexibility, poor communication, and overall handling of the situation. If you plan to stay here, be aware of their rigid policies before booking.

Loved the whole vibe of The Shacks. We felt it was the best location for everything we wished to do. The staff cannot do enough for you, right down to organising the travel from the mainland, transporting across and onto our next accommodation. We stayed in the Villa with a pool, which was very large, private, we loved the pool. The only thing I would comment on would be that the shower are could probably do with tickle up. Breakfast was lovely and food yummy. I was good to have the Sandy Bay Beach Club near by for meals and entertainment if we didn't want to venture out. Thanks everyone.

We had an excellent stay at this property. We had originally booked for 4 nights, and ended up extending another 3! The bed was comfortable, accommodation clean, the staff and service was excellent. Conveniently located a few steps away from the beach club, which made for a relaxing day on the sun beds each day. Staff were extremely helpful, and accommodating - who facilitated our laundry being done and hiring scooters. Breakfast was fresh, yum and huge! Which we enjoyed on our deck each morning. Some inconsiderate guests who partied at night, which could have been dealt with by staff, but no complaints otherwise.

Loved staying at the garden shacks for a week in May 2022. Nice quiet location and perfect accomodation for a couple. Beautiful garden bathroom. Amazing breakfasts served daily. Such friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again. Thank you for having us.

Beautiful property with just a short walk to the beach. Individual cabin with little verandah that you can have your breakfast or just to chill after a long day exploring. The lawn and gardens are well kept. Pool is small but clean and functional. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The management should do something to upgrade their WIFI! It’s one of the worse on the island.

My husband and I had 2 nights here in April. The staff at The Sandy Bay Shacks were really nice especially Iluh.They were all very friendly and helpful.The communication was very good and we new from the beginning we had chosen the right place. We hired a moped for the day from them to see the island.Very safe to drive around.The breakfast was very nice,fresh and with a good variety.To have it on our verandah was a bonus.Loved the beachy vibe of the shacks.Actually the beachy vibe of the whole place.We had the 1 b/r pool villa - just perfect.Very sunny and bright.Comfy bed.Big bathroom with nice toiletries.Quiet and surrounded by amazing gardens. Nice quiet area not far from Mushroom Bay where there are beautiful restaurants and bars.Iluh recommended both our restaurants and they were beautiful.It was great to be near the Sandy Bay beach club over looking the beach.This place is also awesome.Very similar in design with a great pool overlooking the beach. Highly recommend.We miss it🙂
