Yes, the location is very far away from the centre of Canggu and not so convenient. But I would say that the stay here was amazing and given the price of the hotel, you don't have anything else to nitpick about. Definitely a place for those who like a quiet place and to have a spacious space to yourself. 100 worth it!

Swimming pool was great, room is very spacious, design is instagramable. Very suitable for honeymoon couple. Customer services was great, even you need help late night. Bathtub is big, can fit 2 at the same time, bed very comfy. Breakfast service very good. Very private and quiet at night, feel close to nature.
Downside:
Limited hot water, food is not hor when serve, swimming pool have very strong chlorine smell, no appetite to eat near the pool. Wifi signal not stable sometimes. Location is quite a distance from the closest convinience store.

A pleasant experience to stay with The Saren. We were surprised with the special “Sun Down Service” provided by the hotel to tidy up the room in the evening to make it to the ultimate staying experience.

A really tranquil experience for us in staying at The Saren. We have been to Bali every year so far and this is the first time we are staying in Canggu area. The location is quite deep inside and nearby the Nyanyi Beach. For those not aware, it is only 10 minutes to Luna Beach Club by the beach. The service was excellent from the hotel team from their breakfast, which was excellent and the housekeeping team, with welcoming messages and cookies too. The room was really clean and smelled good too. We requested for a motorbike rental and they arranged it accordingly. All communications are via Whatsapp acting as their reception since the cafe/coffeehouse was their operating centre which was very much acceptable.
Nonetheless, it was a very good experience and stay for us. Will definitely visit again if we were planning to stay in Canggu.

My sister and I had a lovely stay. It was very calm since it’s surrounded by rice fields, nice scenery. At the same time it’s close enough to restaurants and supermarkets. The staff was kind and always ready to help and assist!

The room was spacious, clean and had nice extra touches. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. It’s a great location to Nuanu but there isn’t a huge amount else around there. We would stay there again
