It's fine for a one-night stay, but it’s definitely not a four-star hotel. The staff is friendly, and the facilities are spacious, clean, and well-maintained.
However, some details were disappointing.
The staff didn’t seem to be expecting us—perhaps the booking details weren’t properly sent by Trip.
We chose this hotel thinking that, besides providing accommodation, it would allow us to eat easily and quickly with familiar food the day before our flight. However, the restaurant’s food and service left much to be desired, especially for a hotel with “Western” in its name. It was very difficult to make the staff understand that I wanted a sandwich with a different type of cheese. The breakfast buffet was abundant and varied, but most of the dishes consisted of rice or heavy foods that a Westerner wouldn’t typically have for breakfast.
What bothered me the most, though, was the strong musty smell coming from the air conditioning, which filled the entire room and even permeated our clothes. Additionally, there were so many ants that it was impossible to keep them out of our sheets.
That said, it was an interesting experience, and the staff was very nice.
