The hotel is located in a stunning area, with a picturesque pool overlooking the jungle from atop a cliff. It's evident that this place was once a luxurious retreat with great potential. Unfortunately, its current state is deeply disappointing. I was initially given room 108. As soon as I entered, I was met with a strong smell of mold, even with the air conditioning running. The room was filthy—cobwebs in the corners, visible mold on the walls and ceiling, and lizards crawling around. The bathroom was in poor condition, and basic amenities like a refrigerator, hair dryer, slippers, and robes were missing. Soap and shampoo were provided in dirty dispensers, which didn’t inspire confidence. I asked to change rooms, but the receptionist told me the hotel was fully booked. There was no mosquito net over the bed, and the room was filled with mosquitoes—I had to use repellent just to get some peace. Since I had only booked two nights, I decided not to ruin my trip by making a fuss right away. Later, I visited the pool area. While the pools themselves are beautifully designed and situated, they were unclean — murky water, floating debris, and moss growing on the walls. Broken, dirty sun loungers were scattered around, and there were no beach towels or staff to provide any. Trash bins were overflowing with cigarette butts and other garbage. Back in my room, I tried to take a shower, but the hot water was shut off while I was still washing my hair. I had to go to reception in a towel to complain. Eventually, I was moved to room 105. It was slightly better, but still unclean. That night, I realized the bed linen hadn't been changed and still smelled of the previous guest’s perfume. I returned to reception once more to report it, only to be told no staff were available and to come back the next day. At that point, I insisted on clean linen, and only after making a scene did the receptionist and a security guard come and change it. Overall, this has been one of my worst hotel experiences. In its current condition, this property is not fit to receive guests and, in my opinion, should not be operating.

The staff from security, front desk, housekeeping are friendly and helpful. Place is secured, with security post on enquiry on visitors. You are close with the nature, got to prepare yourself mentally to be surrounded with crickets, frogs, lizards, ants, mosquitos, and millipedes. Towels are not changed, got to request for it. Furniture is old, door with creaking sound. Bathtub with old dirt stain. Pls prepare your own slippers and torchlight as walking area can be dimmed, but good to see the stars. Swimming pool water is cloudy, not the usual clear water. Breakfast is with a few choices only.

The hotel location is good, quiet area, and if you want to calm your mind, this is one of the options. The staff was helpful and provide good service. Somehow, the restaurant need more staff, I feel bad when I only saw 2 people working to serve many guest, and many of the task are being delayed. The room is big, clean (but this hotel is in the middle of jungle, so don’t expect to have a free bugs room) this is normal. They have many swimming pool, but the infinity pool seems like dirty, cannot see the bottom part, so no courage to use it. Need more attention to the Infinity pool area including pool, chair, shower, etc. other pool was fine. Food was okay but not many options. Overall the hotel was good with that price.

We stayed at family room 202 . Firstly the main entrance door was not shutting fully so the AC effect wouldn’t be felt fully, then the room was very badly maintained, no proper lighting in bathroom, room was very dusty and uncleaned. And the worst was during night we had mouse running over our bags and the noise was so distracting we couldn’t sleep. One of the worst experiences at a resort. The staff though were warm and polite. Next morning when we mentioned this issue we were moved to another family room which was better. The main pool next to break fast area is uncleaned and has fungus formed on pool walls. Overall not a pleasant experience at all.

THIS IS NOT A 4-STAR RESORT. AT BEST THIS IS 2-STAR. I want to start with writing that the staff here is extremely welcoming and very helpful to the guests and I have no gripe for them. However, the owner needs to invest some money in the maintenance of the property and especially the interiors of the room. I had booked a Deluxe suite and when checking in the situation of the room was so bad, it was downright unlivable. There were spider webs everywhere, sofa mattresses had spots, windows were super dirty and wall plaster coming off everywhere. Worst of all the bathroom and toilet were smelly and the bathroom exhaust was not working. Wifi did not reach the room we were given. I immediately decided and asked them to shift me to another room. I was downgraded to a Deluxe room even though I paid for deluxe suite stating that there are no rooms available. This new room was marginally ok and you can see the pictures of this here. This was still quite unacceptable. Plaster coming off, broken chair, broken toilet seat, yellow walls and broken tiles in bathtub. But I swallowed the pill and stayed for 4 nights. Please don’t book this resort even if the prices are cheap. Again i want to re-iterate that staff were very good and this is not there fault. Food is average.

The only downside to the hotel room I was in was no toilet paper. They only made my bed and threw the dirty towel in the middle of the floor. I was there for 2 nights and the only thing I enjoyed about it was the scenery (the nature)

The location is in UBUD far from Cannggu unless you stay in Ubud area for a few days. The road to get there are tiny and shallow. The hotel itself is an old condition. The furniture and everything inside is very old and cranky. Yet the room is very specious. However, my wife wasn't really happy with the room because very often she would see cockroaches or lizards the room which is very disturbing. I know lizards are a part of the nature but still cockroaches means filthiness. The only thing I enjoyed at this hotel is the views from the swimming pool and reception area. I also liked the warm welcome with welcome drinks and the very nice staff.
