Very bad experience. I had left antibiotics on my bed side table and the cleaner came and when I returned they were not there. When I told front desk, they were defensive and rude and basically blamed me for leaving it out. Would not recommend

Would not recommend to stay here at all. The only good thing was waking up to the monkeys, and the men staff at breakfast were so lovely! We booked a standard room on Agoda which stated it had aircon. When we got there the receptionists advised we had booked a room with a fan, we showed the confirmation etc but they didn’t seem to care, just said we had to pay extra for air con. We looked at the standard room but it was not good at all, the front door was locked with a simple padlock and there was a gap underneath the door which all the bugs were getting in through. It was clear we were unhappy but they didn’t offer us anything even though they had a spare deluxe room available. We decided to pay for the upgrade and the room was better but not by much. Ants all over the floor and lizards in the room made us feel uncomfortable to sleep at night. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, the sink leaked, room smelt of mould, stained towels (didn’t get new towels in the 4 nights we stayed), lighting hardly worked, dead bugs all over the walls. No tea/coffee or complimentary water. I’ve left this place covered in about 15 mosquito bites (been travelling Asia for 3 months and this is by far the worst) This place has potential to be really nice if they cared for the rooms as the gardens are lovely, just seems the owners do not read reviews or care about improving.

My experience at Monkey came and opened slide doors to my room. No warning anywhere that this could happen and that doors had to be locked with key to keep monkeys out. Naming this room Delux is a Misrepresentation or scam Things that could easily be fixed Very few electric plugs exsample You have to decide if you want Fridge on or use tv make a choice🤣 I ask receptionist to fix that, request ignored. The internet keep shutting down Lightning in DELUX ROOM 3 cold neon types in ceiling. Decoration in room consists of one A4 size picture No free water in room When I told staff there no battery in remote, she laughed and say “I will buy some” Unprofessional Took staff one hour to bring my luggage to room had to remind them to bring it. Tv did not not work easy you have to subscribe to some app Wifi code not stated in room I went the long way to receptionist on and she scribbled a 10 digit code on paper. Very inconvenient. On the very long outdoor stairway I had a very big fall at night because lightbulbs not working, I hurt myself a lot. I completely hated the place and complain so much that manager refund all money paid and allowed me to cancel my “no refund” booking
