Balangan Sea View Bungalow

We stayed 2 nights at this Hotel. We were attracted by its beauty, location and peaceful atmosphere. Far to say, although it was beautiful, the experience was not positive at all. When we arrived to the hotel my friend had a minor accident with a car in front of the hotel parking. Since the driver of the car did not speak English and was getting quite aggressive we decided to ask for help to the hotel staff. We went inside and asked DOUGLAS (name of the staff member) if he could translate for us and help us communicate with the driver in order to reach an agreement. Even though he was completely free and wondering along his desk, he told us he was too busy and was not going to help us. This sentence along with his condescending attitude really impacted our first impression of the hotel. My friend and I tried to explain to him that we were just guests trying to have some help from the local hotel staff in order to understand what the driver meant. He constantly denied us help and treated us terribly poorly even if my friend was very visibly upset and crying. We had to solve the issue by our own means. He then did not even acknowledge the issue and proceeded to mock us by asking us if we wanted welcoming drinks before our check in. Moreover, on our last day our flight was delayed and we had to call and Indonesian number to proceed with four flight changes. Since we were unable to use our phones to call and Indonesian number we asked to the reception staff if we could use the hotel phone. Some staff memebers agreed but after talking with DOUGLAS he told us that we could not. We asked if there was a way to donate simple call with their phones and he rejected us in a very rude and condescending way again. This is proof that although the hotel is pretty, general staff is nice and food was good; a single rude and terribly insensitive staff member (DOUGLAS) can ruin your experience. So if you are looking to places to stay in Uluwatu I would never recommend this hotel for the lack of help and humanity we received from the staff (DOUGLAS)

Not very pleasant place. Strong feeling it was build just to ***** tourists off money and provide bare minimum. Bad state of rooms (non ac room), very slow almost dysfunctional Internet. When I tried to fix it with the staff they arrogantly tried to convince me that it works and dismiss me as a customer. The last even said the legendary line:” Wi-Fi here for vacation not work “ :))) (they advertise fast Internet and I had made sure to tell them I need it for daily work To number for the owner which didn’t bother to respond to my calls or messages. Score: fraudulent place.

Average. Wanted rent a scooter, only one was available, but was broken. Food and menu was good but price dont match quality. Seaview bungaws has no sea view :) staff was friendly and helpful and pool was clean. Good place staying one, two nights max.

The best Spa massage in all Uluwatu!! Seaview Balangan Spa offers amazing massage for all the family including kids! We will come back, thank you komang and Putu for the wonderful service !!! Full body massages are great! Great nail work as well! Super recommended!
