My experience was great in this hotel! We got the Villa with private pool and it was a great experience. The villa is very spacious, and the pool gets a good sun specially in the morning.
Since the hotel is next to the jungle, in the morning and the evening you will see the monkeys around, in the morning they can be a little loud and make noise when jumping on the ceiling.
The location is great! It is walking distance to many restaurants in the area and if a bit lazy, can order a Grab Moto.
The breakfast was tasteless although every morning they have different options.

Champlung was our home for 4 nights, and what a beautiful home it was! The one bedroom private pool villa was spacious and well set out. The bed was very large and firm, and the bathroom was massive! The pool was clean and very inviting after being out and about in the heat and humidity.
The grounds of the hotel were absolutely stunning, and it was so lovely to see the monkeys just hanging around and chilling.
We didn't have lunch or dinner at the hotel, however we did have breakfast included each morning. There was a very good selection of vegetarian and non vegetarian options. I ordered the banana pancakes each morning.... soooo fluffy and delicious!
The location of the hotel is incredible. There is a M Mart on the corner and it is a short stroll to many eateries and stalls.

P/S: The monkeys are kinda aggressive but fret not the monkey guards are there to ensure your safety!

I stayed in a villa-type room.
I was surprised at how spacious and clean it was!!
There were a lot of sprouts on the sink and in the bath, but since this is Bali, I didn't mind at all ^ ^
There were people doing yoga in the morning, and I thought it was great. If I have the chance next time, I'd like to try yoga too!
I'd like to stay here again

The hotel is good overall. At first, we took a taxi to another direction because of the location, so we had to walk a distance with our luggage. When we entered the lobby, we were worried that we would step on a landmine, after all, it is an old hotel with many years of history. However, I was really surprised when we were taken to the private pool villa we booked. Because it was a honeymoon trip, I specifically noted that they would prepare some decorations, and they did provide it for free. This is really great 😍
