"No breakfast. Art hotel decoration on the side of the main road. BGM music is also very good. Downstairs is also convenient for eating, but the noise of motorbikes on the road all night is very noisy, like sleeping on the street. You must book a pool room in advance and you must live in a room that is not along the street. Otherwise it will be noisy all night to sleep"

"It was the perfect for our balinese vacation. The hotel features an authentic balinese architecture and a lush green garden directly facing the ocean. The breakfast is served right by the beach side and you can enjoy your morning coffee while people watching pass by on the beach. A big plus for us was the tennis court which was well maintained. There are some beach clubs around the hotel if you like to escape the serene environment of the hotel. The hotel interior is very local but a bit dated yet still very well maintained. The service and friendliness of the staff was outstanding."

"The service and staff were fantastic. I was very impressed with the hotel inclusions, the helpfulness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and resort. The 3 pools were idyllic, the gardens were immaculate. The food was fantastic. I was very impressed with the staff of the resort as I was not well and they took me to a Drs clinic bought me back to the resort and all the staff kept asking me how I was feeling and if I needed anything. They couldn't help me enough. I will definitely return to stay here again. One of my favourite places to stay. Highly recommend."

"Mixed emotions. We stayed for 2 days, and upon check-in it was discovered that there were no inputs in the room. The manager said the problem would be resolved within an hour. Despite the fact that the staff offered to wash by the pool, where the shower is outside in full view of everyone. A couple of hours later, the manager came and said that everything was fine, adjusted the water (it came out black, all the pipes were clogged and had to be flushed). After that we went to dinner and decided to wash ourselves before going to bed. It was my wife's birthday the next day. They also asked to clean the room and replace the towels, because during the setup, everything became dirty. Coming back from dinner, we asked if everything was okay and they answered yes. Arriving at the room, we found that there was no water again. This was very upsetting and we went to find out the situation at the reception, where the girls were sitting and trying to smooth out the situation. After calling the manager, we explained that it is not acceptable to live in a room all day where there is no water, you can’t even go to the toilet because there is nothing to flush it with. Staff again distinguished itself and offered a 1.5 liter bottle of water for flushing. Frustrated, we asked to rent us another hotel. The time was 23:00. Staff said that they called all around and there were no numbers. We offered to rent the hotel where we had lived for the past 2 days. It turned out there was a room for 1 night. And we agreed that we would spend the night there and return the next day. And so it happened! The next day the water problem was resolved. As for the Honemoon suite, it was damp, so there was no need for air conditioning and things got wet. Breakfast is standard. The staff are generally great, except for the manager. I understand that the problem affected the entire hotel, but why put people in when there is no water in the room, why say that everything is fine, and then we discover that there is no water in the room (1 time after brunch, 2 times after dinner). My wife said several times that it was her birthday, that there would be a photo shoot on the next giving day, and she needed clean hair, etc., and this could not be done without water. The manager promised to settle everything, but in the end he couldn’t. And at one point he said, okay, sorry for the situation, I’ll have the cake the next day. It's funny, but even here he didn't do anything. Therefore, in general, I didn’t like the hotel, nor did I like the room, the staff tried, but they had few resources for this. Although they rented a room to spend the night in another hotel. There's a spoonful of honey in the ointment."

Very Good
LLuanna Cardoso deArriving at the hotel I immediately smelled the mould. The hotel is beautiful but smells. We were kindly received at the door, they picked up our luggage, and served us a welcome drink while we did the check in. I started to sneeze and my nose clogged so I explained I was allergic to dust and I would like a room with more sunlight and wind. When we entered the room the musty smell was unbearable. I immediately complained and they promptly found another room without carpets. I believe it was an upgrade. They also sent us an apology card with fruits and chocolates. Unfortunately, the new room was still smelly, not as smelly as the first one, but we accepted as we were super tired and didn’t want to wait any longer. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: Shower pressure was fantastic Breakfast was great, they had options like avocado toast, salmon bagel, burritos, and a variety of international options Bed was comfortable Swimming pool Temperature was perfect and the bar very convenient with great drinks Beach is clean and not crowded Sunset is beautiful The restaurants had a good environment and good food. A bit pricey, but overall worth it. Cons: Mould. This is actually the only reason I wouldn’t go back to this hotel. The smell is in the room and the entrance mainly. The rest of the areas are okay. This hotel was built in 1993, so I have to say that if it wasn’t for that, the hotel would be in amazing condition. Service by the pool was very slow, my husband tried to get a beer first thing when he arrived and only after calling the waiter twice they brought him the beer, but it was room temperature! 😞 Coconut water and beer were not cold, they actually offered ice, but it just made it watery and tasteless. Bike rental can only be used inside the hotel, and they don’t tell you that when you rent it. I tried to go out to cycle in the surrounding area and they didn’t allow me to go. After complaining, the charged me half price for the rent. I only used inside the hotel and at the beach in front of the hotel. Concierge service was very slow and inefficient. He didn’t have packages to offer, photos, or videos. Everything was searched on Google right in front of us. The only option given was a private driver that could take us anywhere we wanted to go. The problem is that we didn’t know the places, so we were expecting a better introduction to the island and the activities. We ended up doing our own research and hiring the driver. Transfer from hotel to airport costs 430,000 RP, but if you get a grab (similar to Uber/Didi) it will cost you less than 80,000 RP. Overall, the hotel is a good option if you can tolerate the smell. That’s the only reason I wouldn’t recommend it. Otherwise it was a great stay for the price.

GGuest UserA very disappointing stay at this hotel. Issues started at check in and continued throughout our stay . Our family booked 5 rooms at the Alam KUL KUL and we all had issues with facilities and getting any action taken to address them . To start we visited the hotel in mid November 2023 to enquire about late checkout when we stayed in February 2024. The hotel reception were very pleasant in November and guaranteed that late checkout was easy and it was a great rate of 550.000 . The reception staff said that they had added the late checkout to our booking. When we arrived in February everything was different. First the reception staff questioned that we had visited in November and that we did not have late checkout added to our booking. They insisted that we name the hotel staff who we had spoken with in November. After much discussion we had the late checkout added but staff were less than friendly. Then they insisted we pay the extra money straight away. We said no problem but then my wife’s wise card wouldn’t work in their payment machine and staff kept insisting that the wrong pin was being entered. My wife had been using the card for the last 7 days in Bali with no issues. So I then gave them my wise card and was surprised when it wouldn’t work in their machine either. I also had been using my card daily in Bali with no issues. After much further discussion with hotel reception they said that we could pay at check out. We had already pre paid for all 5 rooms prior to this. On the day of checkout I received a request to contact reception as they had no records of us asking for late checkout. During several WhatsApp messages from reception they said that we had refused to pay for the late checkout and that we had stated that we would get it free. I was absolutely disappointed to receive these messages and we had never stated anything about free late checkout. The reception staff continued sending messages that were completely false statements. In reflection I think that the staff were trying to cover up the poor service lack of professionalism that they lacked. This were only a few of the small issues that arose during our stay . Our daughter and family had a mouse running around their room and it took staff 3 days to come and look at the room. There was never any offer to change rooms. Another family group had their air conditioning not working and it took 3 days for the hotel to address that issue . My wife ordered drinks during happy hour at the garden pool and when the bill came they wanted to charge full price and their staff stated that my wife had ordered room service! She was locked out of our room at the time because the electronic key kept failing. On 3 separate occasions I asked to speak with the hotel manager to see if we could get better communication and service. Unfortunately the manager was always unavailable, so can only assume that is where the problem starts . Too important or don’t care about hotel guests. Most of the hotels staff were extremely friendly and welcoming especially the restaurant staff. The Alam is a very old property in a very good location. The rooms have been renovated and beds are comfortable. After visiting Bali about 16 times and staying in many different hotels and villas this was our most disappointing stay in Bali. It’s a shame that the small issues kept coming and that the hotel were either trying to cover up or complacent about.

RRAGURAM21During my recent trip to the coastal city, I had the pleasure of staying at The Oceanview Resort, a hidden gem that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a special experience. The resort offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and exceptional service, making it an ideal choice for both relaxation and adventure. Location and Ambiance The first thing that struck me about The Oceanview Resort was its stunning location. Perched on a cliff overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the bay, the hotel boasts panoramic views that are nothing short of breathtaking. The gentle sound of waves crashing against the shore was a constant, soothing companion throughout my stay. The resort is beautifully designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings, with lush greenery and elegantly landscaped gardens adding to the serene atmosphere. Rooms and Facilities My room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I could have possibly needed. The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room featured large windows that allowed for an abundance of natural light. Waking up to the sight of the ocean every morning was truly magical. The room also came with a modern, well-appointed bathroom, complete with a rainfall shower, premium toiletries, and fluffy towels—everything I needed for ultimate relaxation. The resort's facilities were equally impressive. The outdoor infinity pool, with its stunning ocean view, was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration. The on-site spa offered a range of rejuvenating treatments, and I indulged in a relaxing massage that left me feeling completely refreshed. For those who enjoy staying active, the resort has a fully equipped gym, and a variety of water sports activities are available on the beach, including snorkeling, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Dining Experience Dining at The Oceanview Resort was an absolute highlight. The resort offers several dining options, each with its own unique atmosphere and menu. I had the pleasure of enjoying dinner at the beachfront restaurant, where I was treated to a delectable array of local seafood and international dishes. The fresh catch of the day was prepared to perfection, and the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and making sure every detail of my dining experience was flawless. For breakfast, the resort’s buffet offered a wide range of options, from freshly baked pastries and tropical fruits to hot dishes made to order. The morning view of the sun rising over the ocean while sipping a cup of freshly brewed coffee was the perfect start to each day. Customer Service One of the standout features of The Oceanview Resort is its exceptional customer service. From the moment I checked in, I felt like a valued guest. The staff went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable, offering personalized recommendations and accommodating special requests without hesitation. They truly made me feel at home, which added a personal touch to my experience. Conclusion In conclusion, The Oceanview Resort is a top-tier destination that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. Whether you're seeking a romantic retreat, a family vacation, or simply a place to unwind, this resort offers everything you could possibly need for an unforgettable stay. With its unbeatable location, outstanding facilities, and top-notch service, it is truly a place where memories are made. I will certainly be returning the next time I visit the area

AAnonymous UserStaying here was a real retreat. The room which has pool access we booked was clean, spacious, intimate bcs there only a few room. Our room was very close to the dining gazebo where there were some plugs so we could working with our laptop with a sight of ricefields. the bathroom has a good warm water shower. I love when the morning sun can penetrate to the room. Nasi goreng and Mie goreng for breakfast are quite tasty. - But sometimes you can hear a gecko at night and unfortunately during our 2n3d stay, there were no one clean and make up our room. Also tissue and water didn't get refilled.

IIsy_bisyThe hotel room is spotless and so beautiful. I love the style and the balcony even if it overlooks one of the restaurants. I spent most of my time by the pool. The only problem was people who were placing their towels on the sun beds all day without even using them. There definitely should be a policy in place where they only have 2 hour limit without using it or something. The all inclusive plan is definitely worth the money if you’re going to use the pool bar but if you’re looking for extraordinary food then you’ll be disappointed. It’s good, it’s alright but nothing special, even the “seafood” night only had 1 type of fish and some squid ! Overall I would still recommend this place to my friends or even come back but I would venture to other restaurants close by instead of eating at the hotel.

There is not much micro economy outside and just one restaurant. I did manage to get Grab from the hotel. The hotel runs a great shuttle to Semarapura and Goa Lawah, it's free but you tip the driver and guide and pay for entry to the various sites.
