The golf resort we stopped at on our last trip to Ireland.
If the weather had been nice, we would have finished with a last round of golf, but unfortunately it rained.
However, the staff were so kind and the atmosphere was so good that it more than made up for it.
Dinner.. The meal at the classic course restaurant was great value for money. My husband and I, who drove a long way, leisurely emptied a bottle of wine.. Guinness at the live music bar..
The Irish people are so kind.. If the ending is good, everything is good~~😁

We stayed in this wonderful hotel during the Christmas period. We had received emails before we arrived, asking for me to make dinner and breakfast reservations. As we turned into the hotel driveway an amazing sight greeted us. Well-manicured grounds and ample parking. We arrived early and the very helpful Concierge took care of our bags, we had lunch in the Kells Bar. The bar food was outstanding, we were presented with a menu by a friendly server very quickly. The food arrived fast and was very tasty. The receptionist called me when the room was ready, The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well-furnished. Even though the hotel was busy, we didn't hear any noise during the night. Our dinner in the restaurant was slick, efficient and extremely good. Service was first class. We visited the leisure centre and as they are everywhere in the hotel, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast the next morning was very well organised and we were served with the minimum of fuss. We were very impressed with the staff, wherever I went the staff genuinely wanted to help in a friendly way. This hotel is a true gem.

We checked in online, which was brilliant and very efficient. Margaret looked after us, and she is always very friendly. Our room 738 was lovely as always, spotlessly clean with an excellent view of the golf course and grounds. We love The Slieve Russell Hotel, and the staff are always very helpful. A big thanks to Ivan and Mihah, who always make us so welcome. We enjoyed our lovely breakfast. Thank you Caroline and Vilma for your excellent service. Enjoyed the evening entertainment and lovely walk around the golf course. Katie on reception is A star. She checked us out and we always appreciate her professionalism and lovely manner. Great to see Tony, the General Manager who is a fantastic ambassador for the Hospitality Industry and we hope to return soon.

Just back from an overnight concert stay. Check in was meant to be 3pm, they kept our bars and we were able to check in at 2:15. Reception confirmed our spa & restaurant booking & had our bags in our room for us. We ate in the summit bar. It was very busy, food was excellent as was the service. The staff worked so hard & efficiently. Our room was on the ground floor, it was an assessable room. Some people don’t like this, it was excellent however aircon would be very welcome on hot days. The function room for the concert was easy to access, comfortable temperature & seating. The bars were packed after the show but lots of hard working staff there. Been a few years from we had been & all areas have had a major make over. Thoroughly enjoyed our night & golf course walk before & after an excellent breakfast. Again plenty of hard working capable staff. Great Irish hospitality as only we can do it. Won’t be as long before we go back!!!

The downstairs bar pint larger shandy + pint coke 13 euros but not a pint coke 2 small bottles then told can put more in but more exspensive. A pint not a pint. Large bar area not too busy. No baked beans on full english breakfast so a bit dry to eat. Pool not very big £170 a night.

I attended a hen party here recently. It’s a fabulous hotel and its surrounds are very well kept. The food was delicious. The service was quick despite it being a big group of people. The staff were attentive. We then went to the bar downstairs and the manager gave the bride to be two free cocktails. We thought this was very thoughtful and excellent customer service. Very busy hotel so you may need to pre -book beforehand.

Myself my wife and 5 year old daughter stayed here for 3 nights it wasnt our first time staying here but it was the longest we have stayed and we had a great time.I ended up getting a great deal we had 2 dinners breakfast every morning 2 cocktails and a voucher for the spa i cannot fault anything with the hotel it's a credit to our country and cavan.
