We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday at Ballynahinch Castle and it was truly magical. The staff went above and beyond to make her day special—their warmth and attentiveness made us feel like family. The grounds are absolutely stunning, perfect for peaceful walks and taking in the breathtaking scenery. A highlight was planting an oak tree to commemorate this milestone—a living memory we'll return to visit in the years to come. Every moment of our stay felt special. This is more than just a hotel; it's an experience we'll treasure forever. Highly recommend for milestone celebrations or anyone seeking something extraordinary.

We have being to Ballinahinch many times over the years but this time standards had regrettably fallen. The breakfast leg of ham, usually delightful, had a layer of uncured pork around the bone, bacon rashers were super salty.Room not refreshed for the second day of our stay, little things were overlooked. Dinner in the restaurant was an overpriced disappointment, tiny portions, undercooked bloody venison, crab dish with only trace amounts of crab, overpowering sauces and dressings. Lot of new staff with limited English. Old staff very friendly as always.Mailed the manger got an AI response in broken English.

Loved the castle! Spacious room, beautiful grounds, delicious breakfasts, lots of cozy places to sit by the fire. The service was exemplary...special thanks to the young gentleman who tried so hard to get our fire going with wet wood! Dinner menu was a little bit too frou-frou for us, but the breakfasts are to die for! Loved walking the grounds, particularly the Walled Garden. This is a must-stay for sure!

I am just back from the most wonderful stay at Ballyinahinch. The rooms were spectacular. Special shout out to the fabulous Kevin the bar manager who looked after us! The breakfast is by far the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Lovely vibes throughout, we will defiantly be back again!

Cannot recommend this castle stat enough. We were in the original castle part and the rooms, and service was flawless. The wood burning fireplaces in the lobby and dining areas were cosy and we loved the beautiful grounds. I wish we had stayed more than one night.

Ballynahinch castle and estate is a special place, and not just because of the fabulous grounds, luxury rooms, incredible food and wonderful bar etc etc. The staff and management of Ballynahinch are top class in every way, there is a genuine sincerity and friendliness aimed at guests, and you really are made feel welcome and valued. There is no over the top falseness here, just a simple good mannered approach to exceptional service. Whether dealing with Greg R on all things fishing, Greg F on activities, Freddie at front of house, Kieran in the bar, Pat the porter or Patrick the GM (just to mention a few), there is nothing rushed, guests are given genuine time, and this is unique and precious in the fast lane world we live in. I travel the world for a living and have been lucky enough to have stayed in many great hotels, however Ballynahinch is second to none. Ballynahinch delivers top class service and keeps evolving, with the recent room upgrades and regeneration of the walled garden. A special place, and our favourite.

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend in Ballinahinch Castle. It’s our favourite place in Ireland to visit. The beautiful scenery enhanced by wonderful service and staff is in my opinion second to none. The food, the service and their hospitality for our wedding anniversary and many other special occasions leave us with anticipation of our next visit. If you want wonderful food, service and hospitality in relaxing surroundings this is the place for you.
