Every staff speaks good English, very nice. The environment is extremely amazing. There forces you to put down your phone enjoy your holiday because there has no signal at all. But in the resort providing WiFi (not free). We definitely will go there again

They didn’t respond to my email about how to get to the hotel, had to figure it out on my own. Don’t respond to social media messages either which is a shame. The place is hard to get to. The food was alright. But the view makes up for all of the above.

OMG A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ITS A vey old hotel . It’s super expensive for what it is. The hotel is rusted and all the wood is broken. The people are not helpful the general manager doesn’t speak English. The food was not good . There is nothing to recommend of this hotel . It moves a lot so if you get dizzy don’t come. It’s a 15 year old hotel and they haven’t maintain it in good condition. One of my worst experiences I’ve had and a very expensive one

Absolute terrible hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel is old, falling apart, full of ants and SO RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE. We cannot believe our terrible agency, Custom Asia Travel, booked this 3 star hotel that hadn’t been renovated or fixed in 15 years for $800 usd a night. This is crazy. We told them how bad the hotel (dirty bed, broken floor, ants in the room) is and that we wanted a refund, at least partial, and they said they don’t do refunds. DO NOT STAY HERE.

An extraordinary and unforgettable experience! We truly enjoyed every moment at this magical luxury resort on the breathtaking river in Khao Sok. The place exceeded all our expectations — especially since a few years ago we chose a slightly cheaper alternative, and the difference was remarkable. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere serene and inspiring. The staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and always available for anything we needed. A special mention goes to Sala and Mai, who made our stay extra memorable, but honestly, every single team member was wonderful. A perfect blend of nature, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality — we can’t wait to return!

From the moment we arrived, 500Rai felt like a dream come true. The floating villas are surrounded by the most breathtaking scenery : emerald waters, towering limestone cliffs, and pure tranquility. The staff were beyond kind and made everything feel effortless, from the delicious Thai meals to the sunset boat tours and morning canoe rides. Our room was spotless, cozy, and perfectly designed to blend luxury with nature. Waking up to mist rolling over the lake was something I’ll never forget. Even the smallest details, like the eco-conscious touches and genuine hospitality, made this stay unforgettable.
