"We stayed here on the day of my son’s 4th birthday. We were told that our room would take an extra 30 minutes for birthday decorations, but we were taken aback that the towel decorations alone took 30 minutes to set up. We also requested connecting rooms, but since we had booked king rooms, they were unable to change one of our king rooms to a twin and told us to rebook. However, the rooms are big, spacious, and clean. They come with a sofa that can fit an adult to rest on. The pool and the small playground next to it were great for keeping our kids entertained. The breakfast spread was good, with a lot of choices. Location-wise, it is very good. There were supermarkets, plenty of food options (many outside the hotel), and even a laundromat."

"We had a wonderful stay at Amerald Hotel. The room was clean, spacious, very comfortable, and offered a beautiful view. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We also enjoyed the private beach, and the free parking was very convenient. The breakfast was wonderful with a nice variety of options to start the day. We even met the manager, Janice Yap, who was very helpful and welcoming. It’s a great place to unwind, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and get away from the city. The facilities were well-maintained, and the location was convenient. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Hard Rock Hotel is a wonderful hotel. The service is warm and friendly, with great attention to detail. I stayed here to celebrate my birthday, and the hotel truly made it special. They prepared a hotel souvenir and a complimentary birthday cake for me, and even decorated the room with artwork. The staff were incredibly thoughtful, constantly wishing me a happy birthday, which made me feel very touched. In the evening, there were live bands performing at the hotel — the atmosphere was amazing and full of energy. I really loved the vibrant vibe here. The food was quite good as well. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back again next time. 🎸🎂✨"

"I wanted a simple set up for wheelchair & senior citizen easy access to room and breakfast in Desaru but made a mistake by assuming all hotels are nearby sea-front 😂 Anyway it wasn’t so bad…we went to Teluk Sengat Tanjung Balau and Sedili instead. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Breakfast is basic but tasty"

"I am very satisfied with my last minute booking for a family staycation. The check-in process was smooth, and I received a very detailed briefing from the receptionist, Irene, who was so kind in attending to all my questions. The atmosphere here is wonderful, the place is beautiful and perfect for a 'healing' session to escape the city and clear your mind. Buggy services are constantly available to drop us off. All the staff are friendly, and the area is very peaceful at night and you can sit outside then enjoy the breeze. The location also has direct access to a stunning beach. I will definitely return to stay here again!"

"This place is underrated, why? The unit nearest with the clean beach, have 3 type pools. Kat pantai ada own BBQ pit yg, ada stairway to heaven, cement chair, buaian. Pantai bersih, awal pagi bole layan sunrise, ptg bole layan sunset. Malam bole tenang tenang kat pantai & pool. Bilik bersih, ada siap own simple kitchen with balcony. Overall I am satisfied with this stay even though at first a bit disappointed coz I'm booking with remark request a 2 single bed & they overlooked into it but they still give me the room as request. Thanks Tiara & definitely will stay again."
