2-Star Hotels in Bandar Seri Begawan

The room is clean and has hot water but the building is old. When I arrived the elevater is under maintenance but they informed in advance when I requested the airport transfer so I could prepare my stuffs. Air conditioner was ok for me, cold. Not many inn around downtown provides airport transfer. Hotel staffs were very helpful and nice. It will be better if they renovate the hotel as they gave good hospitality.

The location is very good in the city center, it is very convenient to nearby attractions, the environment is OK, there are office and charging places in the public area, air conditioning, and the price is relatively cheap.

The lovely water hut is more beautiful and clean than the photo.  I really like to live on the water. I can feel the morning dusk and sunset. Walking on the trail at night in a quiet evening, you can see the light scenery of the city and the mosque on the other side. This is a great experience. The three lively and lead-in kittens are a big highlight. I like to sit on the board in the morning and enjoy a rich breakfast. Thanks to the host for sharing so many colorful water house experiences.

The check in was easy the cost was affordable and the beds were comfy. Unfortunately the hotel is just a bit far away. Brunei is a lovely place but a little bit of lack of public transport and the walking paths aren't very comprehensive so sometimes to get into the main part of the of the city it can be up to an hour pong walk. Otherwise the hotel is great.

Brunei's hotel is located in the city of Bandar Seri Begawan, which shows that the transportation is very convenient. Its price is also reasonable. If I come to Brunei next time, I will still choose here.

Location of the hotel is recommended, just cross the other side of the street and you will find many food establishments. Cleanliness is okay. Though the room is not sound proof you can hear noise form the other room.

The two rooms are actually three rooms, the middle one is an open kitchen and living room. The location is not good, except for the supporting commercial area downstairs, you must have a car when you go out. The staff is very nice, the only hotel where there is nothing wrong with the front desk to the room service. There is a free airport shuttle. Later, I heard that I needed to buy medicine, and I specially arranged for someone to drive us out without any cost. There are service points of large car rental companies, and travel services can also be booked with hotels. The commercial facilities are quite complete, and there will be locals eating a work meal at noon.

The hotel is located close to the city centre, which can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. There is a free airport transfer and also a shuttle to the sights of the city - all on request. We had the family room, which was very spacious. Unfortunately, it is very dated and does not meet western standards. Our room was not cleaned once in four days and we had to pay extra for fresh towels - this is unacceptable. The breakfast is very rudimentary, there are the most necessary things, nothing more - like in a youth hostel. Durian is - as usual - forbidden in the hotel. Two metres from the outside entrance, however, the staff sit and eat them. This is very unprofessional. Overall, you realise that tourism does not play a major role in Brunei. Even if the staff try hard to help in many places, they are for the most part very unprofessional and do not meet modern standards. You shouldn't expect too much, then it can be a satisfying stay.

The room we got upon arrival was not clean. It looked like only the bedding has been changed. Next day we were upgraded to a better and very clean room. Part of the staff very friendly and helpful. Other staff not so useful and asking for tips with checkout, which seems odd to me. Very handy and nice boat service to town with their own jetty and boat around the corner. Breakfast quite OK (continental part a bit limited). Overall a very pleasant and good experience at this hotel.

The hotel location ***** can be said to be at the center of the central area of ​​Brunei, leading to most of the attractions. The hotel lobby is clean and must be recommended by local travel books. The lobby has a Japanese feel and is very relaxing, and the front desk is polite. The room is similar to a 3 to 4-star hotel in other countries. It is not very big, but it has everything you need, and you can refill your own water. It is also very convenient.
