The Windflower Jungle Resort & Spa, Bandipur

Beautiful place & great team to host. F&B Manager Kartik Captain Shiva, Staff Subramanayam, Sunil all were very courteous & ensured our experience is great. Chef-Food was excellent with the choices-anyone visiting must take American Plan..they serve excellent food.

We just returned from the most wonderful stay at the Windflower ! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was truly exceptional. The rooms were impeccably neat and clean, providing a haven of comfort after our jungle adventures. A special thank you must go to the General Manager, Mr. Umanath, whose assistance with our booking and dedication to ensuring we had the most comfortable stay was truly appreciated. He went above and beyond! Our dining experience at the resort's restaurant was also fantastic. The food was delicious, and the service provided by the restaurant staff was top-notch. We extend our sincere gratitude to Chef Mahesh and his entire team for the great food and service. Every meal was a delight! He also made us taste the very special dessert he made for us Jackfruit Kudbudu and it tasted heavenly Thank you, Windflower resort, for the great hospitality, the pristine rooms, and for making our stay so memorable. Mr. Umanath, Chef Mahesh, and all the staff, your dedication made all the difference. We can't wait to return!

We stayed here during our family holiday, and let’s just say it was an experience I wouldn’t recommend to any. The rooms were fnot well maintained and clean, they had a unique bad aroma. Oh, and there were plenty of lizard droppings to remind you that you're really living in the wild. The towels were old, dusty, The bathroom walls had what appeared to be a new species of black mold, and the fixtures? Falling apart faster than my hope of ever having a relaxing holiday. Now, I get it — rustic is a thing. But this wasn’t rustic; this was more like "we forgot to clean anything. " The pathways between rooms and the main block were less "charming and more "nature’s reclamation project. And don’t even get me started on the price. The rooms cost more than my last vacation… and that one actually had walls that stayed up. The swimming pool was just a giant puddle of disappointment, But, hey, on the bright side, the food was surprisingly good! It was tasty and traditional — the only thing at the resort that didn’t make me want to cry. The restaurant was a cozy, rustic affair, though it doubled as a petting zoo. Cats and insects roamed freely, like they owned the place, and the staff seemed to be on a let them be campaign. So if you're looking for a wild experience in Bandhipur, this resort might just be for you — just make sure you bring your own towels and maybe some insect repellent!

One of the best property to relax & get rejuvenated. F & B team is fantastic. Great food. It was truly a good experience. I need to specially mention about F & B manager Karthik ji for being such a perfect host & his team for taking care on the minutest detail of the guests & the hospitality. The chefs need to be appreciated for the good fresh food served & the entire team for their service. I need to thank Anu for the rejuvenating Spa experience. She is an asset to the property. Thank you Manikantan ji for coordinating our stay.

It was a peaceful stay for 2 days. But do not expect much from the place, it's just a room in the jungle kind of experience. Good: The staff were nice and service was quick. Food was good so no complaints Place is peaceful and gives u a good jungle vibe Bad: there is nothing to do inside the resort we cannot call it a resort, it's more like jungle lodge the ac constantly disturbed with the noise, technician came and tried but failed. amenities/activities inside are in poor state you can hear everything from the next room, even when u r in the bath bathroom fittings are old and need repair towels were not white bedsheet had holes water heater do not shut automatically pool was not clean not baby friendly Ugly: The pillows were so big and not fluffy that i had to remove and take a towel and sleep. They do not have any smaller pillows. Got a sore neck The first night. I feel 10k including food should be ideal. I paid 15k per night which did not justify much. if you are with a big group maybe you can have more fun.

This is a magical place to stay. Coupled with a safari where we saw a leopard stalking deer, lots of elephants, a mongoose, and multiple birds and other animals, I was an experience I will not forget. I loved the accommodation, which is in keeping with the environment. The food was great and the buffet style meant you can choose from a wide selection. Swimming in the pool early in the morning as the sun came up was very special.
