Siam Mandarina Hotel - Free BKK Airport Shuttle

The hotel room rate has recently increased because expensive toiletries are now used in all rooms and I observe that the hotel is selling souvenirs and local products at the lobby. I am grateful to Siam Mandarina Hotel for allowing me to carry out plane-spotting from 10 am to 5 pm on its terrace garden, which opens from 6 am to 8 pm. I like the room allocated to me as there is the panoramic view of Suvarnabhumi's runway and I am very happy when I see an aircraft arriving on the runway. To see aircraft taking off to the sky during winter, stand at the Terrace Garden ideally. I will stay here again if necessary for plane-spotting purpose.

Stay one night for connecting flight and it’s great experience for my 4 yrs old who is so excited about spotting the airplane landing and takeoff even we got the room on the 3rd floor. Most comfortable bed ever!! Staffs are nice and friendly. We ordered Room service for breakfast and quiet high price but fairly large amount so, it’s reasonable quality. Will stay there again!

This hotel rated 5 star is far from a 5 star hotel, it's more like a 3 star. Rooms are disgusting with dust everywhere mould in bathroom and even on walls and ceiling. Hair found on bed and few marks on pillows and duvet. Booked a city view room but was given a completely different room to what we booked with a view of the adjacent room. Staff rude with no manners and breakfast was atrocious!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

The shuttle service was good. Felt a little chaotic because BKK is a busy location. I had to email the hotel prior to get the info on the meeting point and schedule for the shuttle to/from the airport. The hotel is great for overnight stay for transfers, but far from any decent shopping or eats. The bathroom needs deep cleaning as there were mildew stain and smell, hence the low rating for cleanliness. Bed was confortable. I was on the 6th floor and there was no water pressure for the shower. I wouldn’t rate this hotel at 5 stars.

Cannot be faulted. The hotel is truly excellent in all respects. The staff are, without exception, professional and friendly and they provide a first class service. I arrived late and used the airport shuttle bus, which is most efficient, and was allocated the room which I had requested. The room itself was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a bath with two shower heads. The restaurant is excellent and the buffet breakfast offers a vast choice. The food is very good and I had dinner, which is very reasonably-priced, most evenings in the hotel. If I have one negative comment, it is purely a personal view, but I would have preferred not to have the live music and singing during dinner. On some evenings it was too loud and did not suit my taste, although I appreciate that many people enjoyed it. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel and, indeed, intend to do so at the earliest opportunity. Great location to stay if you have a late arrival or early morning flight. Free shuttle bus really helps. There’s spa and massage, pool, and gym. Just a bit weird that my room doesn’t have a vanity kit. Overall would recommend.
