Bang Saphan Noi Hotels with Wi-Fi

The experience with this hotell started bad with a reception that at our arrival didnt understand any english. After a while a thai customer, that spoke some english, passed by and helped the reception. We didnt get the room. we booked as there was some technical problem with the room so we got som every bad rooms in some kind of anex. Very dirty rooms. The resturant was closed, but at the good side there was a very good resturantwith fair prices situated just about 50 meters from the hotel, along the beach. There is also a small convinient shop on the oterside of the road from the parking area.

The island looks nice and the sea is just great. But if you look more closely you notice that it starts to be run down. For sure it has been great place for 10-15 years ago. Or Thai style accommodation was a bit disappointing. Our aircondition did not work and believe me you cannot sleep in there without it. They tried to fix it but we had to change the cottage where there was no hot water in the shower but air-conditioning was working. Food/buffet was great and the view from the out door restaurant is beautiful. Personnel in the reception are very nice and helpful. There is a ”sanctuary” for the turtles but even that seems old and run down. When you walk a bit on the beaches you can find plastic trash and bottles. I wish they would clean it better. 2 days and 1 night was enough for us. It was nice change for our stay in Hua Hin but would not go again.

Stayed in a coconut room with an interconnecting door to our daughter. Large room & bathroom. Everything worked well. Very comfy large bed. I asked for a softer pillow & extra hangers all of which were promptly delivered. Wonderful polite caring, smart staff. Fabulous environment & quiet. Taxis organised through the hotel from & to Phuket airport worked very well. Only comments would be breakfast could have been more varied. It would have been nice for more variety of fruits to include bananas & mango & a different cheese. It also would have been nice to see the general manager around? Housekeeping in the main was very good although on one occasion no mosquito pellet left nor tea bags. Minor really. I would return - loved all of the local restaurants/bars. Great to be out of Kho Lak
