Hotels with Breakfast in Bangkok

Think of the Ambassador Hotel as two separate hotels. This review is being written for the square wing which, in my opinion, is a 3-star hotel. After the first two nights, I reserved the Sky Wing and was walked for 10-15 minutes to another building where I was brought to the 24th floor of what I'd consider a 5-star hotel. It's really two different worlds that share the same lobby, restaurants, and facilities. And the price reflects this. Comes down to your budget and how much comfort you desire. I highly recommend the Sky Wing.

Excellent location, about 5-10 mins walk to Thong Lo BTS. The road to the station is quite busy and there isn’t really a pavement, this was fine for us, and the hotel also provided regular rides to the BTS (although we never took these as it was such a short walk). The room was clean, mostly quiet and a good size. Everything appears to be quite recently renovated. Pleasant and reasonably priced hotel for the area. There is also a small outdoor pool. Great option for a short stay.

The service was ok and the location was very good and the view was beautiful but rooms need to be updated. We went to book a massage and the 2 men working on the 19th floor was not kind kept on insisting on booking a 700 bath massage when we told them many times we just want to book 3 foot massages and then suddenly he said he is sorry no one is available to help us, they weren’t professional at all and rude as well.

Everything is great. Location is about 7-10min walk to rachathewi BTS. 5-7min walk to pratunam market. You may book the free buggy too. Breakfast is good, big range of choice. Most importantly, the room, if there is 20 , I will give 20/10. This is really a good choice if you are looking for great breakfast, great value , clean, new hotel, this is definitely in the list. If really wanna comment, then is the location, compare with others, it is slightly far away, but I don’t really care of that extra 100-200m.

My stay was in 14-18 October, paid in full for confirmation of 4 nights on 1st August 2024, requesting 2-bedded room in higher floor, but I was arranged to stay on 3rd floor, with the highest level 7th, it doesn’t make sense at all!! I was told there was no available room on upper floor, but it was the low season!! The balcony is quite small, unlike what was shown on the website, and full of dust.

Amari Bangkok has certainly made our stay a memorable one. Great location, room deco & cleanliness, fitness n pool facilities, food & services are all praise worthy!! Though our spirits were dampened by the fact that our 85 yrs old mother fell sick on the 2nd day of our 12-days trip due to the haze n heat there, we received outstanding service and warm assistance from the entire hotel team. Our special thanks to Guest Relation Managers Ms Wai & Mr Kwan as well as the In-house Medical Team who sent caring medical staff (Manager & Nurse) to attend to my mum’s medical needs before we decide to send her to Priya Thai One Hospital for further assessment. We merely feedback to the hotel staff over a casual conversation our purpose for the trip was a birthday celebration for mum, shortly a surprise birthday cake was sent to our room and followed by a beautiful pot of flower with a get-well card. Ms Wai’s outstanding guest relation effort didn’t just stop there, she came to our table at breakfast on the following day, thoughtfully have the kitchen prepared a bowl of freshly cooked fish porridge for my mum citing her poor appetite and also informed us that she had arranged for a free upgrade to one of our rooms, a Deluxe Twin Room w/ one extra bed to a Premier Twin Room, enabling our entire family to conveniently stay on the same floor level (just a-room away), so that could allow us to keep a close watch on mum’s condition, frankly, that was above all, the most wonderful and warm gesture we have ever received from Amari Bangkok, truly appreciate her effort. Service staff at Amaya Restaurant were most commendable, our special thanks to the manager Ms Liza and her friendly team members - Kriang, Nat, Fon, Pooky, Ryan, Kane, Kim and Faii and many more who had rendered their outstanding service. The team was attentive and careful with our needs to ensure that our breakfast couldn’t be more enjoyable, bravo to their good command of English too!!! House-keeping staff were extremely efficient and patient. Last but not least, Ms Priang at the hotel reception/ lift area had made a very good impression on us for her warm and genuine greetings, not forgetting the teams helming the Front Desk, Concierge & Hotel Entrance area - thank you everyone!! Amari Bangkok will always be our top choice from now.

I recently stayed here for 5 days on a leisure trip. Overall, the hotel offers a decent experience with good breakfast, service, and amenities. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. However, I did notice some mould near the AC vents in the room access corridors, which is a sign that the property might be showing its age. Unfortunately, the checkout process was a major letdown. Despite requesting to have the checkout formalities completed in advance, the staff handling the process was incredibly slow. I ended up waiting for almost 50 minutes, which was frustrating, especially since they had added tips to the room service bill without my permission. This led to discrepancies in the final amount, and even after multiple follow-ups, they were slow in providing the supporting copies. To top it off, they didn’t even give me a final bill but just showed it to me briefly. While the stay was generally comfortable, the checkout experience left a sour note. I would recommend management to improve their processes to avoid such delays and confusion in the future.

I had an outstanding stay at Ibis Styles Bangkok Hotel! The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The room was spotless and well-appointed, and the breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety of options to suit all tastes. The hotel also had a great pool and gym, which were perfect for unwinding after a long day. But what really impressed me was their honesty - I accidentally left money on my bed, but it was still there when I returned, unscathed! I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service, cleanliness, and overall value.

The location of the hotel is good because it is a walk away from Silom. As a solo traveler, I was pretty much down town and things were close by. The pool was nice and there is a sauna available. I had to call the front desk for a plate but they were not answering their calls. I had to call room service but they kept referring me to the front desk. It took an hour just to get a hold of them. I wasn’t impressed about that.

Stayed twice already this year. Must convenient hotel. Easy access to On Nut BTS. With shopping mall next to hotel. Nice view from top floors. Good spread of breakfast in restaurant on 7th floor. Room is huge for a deluxe skyline room It has become my favorite hotel for my future stays in Bangkok.
