Grand Mercure Hotels in Bangkok

Hotel pros: Lovely entry. Restaurant access. There is a travel agent next to the hotel. Also there is a Lawson and 7 eleven close by to get your snacks or everyday needs. Beds are made daily. Staff members are respectful. Clean hallways. Hotel cons: Room is dated (old). No plug next to the bed. Plug in the bathroom can only use for shavers. In the entire room, you can only charge your electronics at one point in the room. It was quite annoying. I stayed for 6 nights and it was driving me crazy. If you will stay for longer and don’t mind, great. If not buy an extension cord. Rooms were a bit dusty. But not overly dirty. Walls could be painted. The shower in the bathroom has a tub and you have to be careful not to fall when getting in and out. Restaurant meals were the same everyday. So boring.

The place looked very different from the pictures. The building looked a bit old. But everything was super clean. The staff was amazing. The room was clean and the location was amazing. Close to Khao Sand Road(5min walk). There was elevator available and we didn’t have time to get in the swimming pool but it looked nice. If you need hairdryer, it’s available is you ask in the counter. I had a good experience~ even if the pictures were different.

3rd time here and always happy. One of the best. Fast and location is good. Water taxi just a step away. Good markets nearby. Breakfast is like a food galore. So many choices and perfect. Pool is Kool with singer in evening. Nothing to complain about.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a lovely stay. The rooftop bar offered a great view, making it a nice place to relax before exploring the city.

Positive things: Great room views. Hotel is clean. The variety and quality of toilet ametities are very good. Negative things: Awful staff attitude. I inserted in the reservation, made sure to the lady at the check-in, that I would like a quiet room. However, I was put into a room next to the elevator, and that elevator there is VERY NOISY. Everytime the elevarot worked up or down, I could hear it working in side my room. I inquired the reception, informing my room number, to be told immediately the hotel was fully booked, I did insisted that the noise was not pleasant at all. The answer given, in a very rude tone, was that I should try to change for the other night. I then told them that I am staying for one night only. To no avail or change of attitude. After much insistence and even the interference of a local friend who works for the brand, I was changed to another room. In this oher room, to my surprise, there was CONTINUOUS LOUD NOISE FROM RENOVATIONS. Note that it was already 21h00 (9pm). I was even told that in this brand the have a ”golden rule” of not making noise after 17h (5pm). Which again, more unpleasant exchanges with reception with another interference of my friend (who was also shocked) almost one hour after I was ”upgraded” the room. At this new room, which by my view wasn't that different from my original ones, it was finally quiet. Seems that was a room rarely used and with various stains in carpet and bed sheets. However with the stress that I went by, really didn't cover it. It was now five hours of annoying unnecessary stresses with the hotel staff. It is not really a cheap hotel and it has an image of a prestigious brand. The staff attitude was less than acceptable throughout the whole experience. Fortunately I was lucky for my friend to intervene in my favour. Glad that I had to stay only one night. At check-out, I was faced with even unprepared individual who did not know how to use a card machine. I know it's a Hilton, but I can say it was one, if not the most irksome experiences that I have ever dealt with.

I recently stayed at the Pullman G Hotel in Bangkok, and I wanted to share my experience. While it's not the luxury Pullman hotel you might expect, it still offers a fairly comfortable stay. First, the hotel has a modern vibe, and the rooms are somewhat well-maintained and functional. However, it’s important to note that this hotel seems to be riding on the coattails of the more luxurious Pullman brand. Don’t expect the same level of opulence. One of the highlights of my stay was the sunset which could be seen from my room and view from the Scarlet Restaurant. Perched high above the city, the restaurant offers breathtaking panoramic views as the sun sets over Bangkok. It’s the perfect spot to unwind with a drink. The ambiance is relaxed, making it a great place to dine with friends or simply enjoy some quiet time.

Good location. Short walking distance to Nana BTS Station. Staffs are friendly. Even the cleaner greeted me every time when I pass by them. Amenities are a bit old but generally still acceptable for me.

Mandarin Hotel Managed by Centre Point - Excellent Location and Great Value! I recently stayed at the Mandarin Hotel Managed by Centre Point and was thoroughly impressed by its prime location. The MRT station is just a short walk away, making it super convenient to get around Bangkok. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and exudes a modern yet comfortable vibe. The staff were attentive and accommodating, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. My room was spacious, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing visit. The breakfast buffet was another highlight – a good variety of dishes to suit different tastes. The gym and pool were also well-maintained, providing great options for leisure and fitness during the stay. If you’re looking for a hotel with an excellent location, great service, and good value for money, I highly recommend the Mandarin Hotel Managed by Centre Point.
