Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square

Aside from the good location, everything else was pretty mediocre. The lobby and pool looked decent, but we were out exploring all day. It was too hot and sunny in the mornings and afternoons to swim. The room facilities were extremely old, with peeling paint and worn-out edges. The towels felt like they hadn't been replaced in years, they were so frayed. For one adult and one child, 900 without breakfast is way too expensive; you could get a much better place for 400-500.

We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children, but upon arrival, the bedding and towels were only set up for 2 people. We only ended up getting 3 large towels, and no small towels at all. We were staying for just one night before our flight back, so we didn't have the energy or time to deal with the minor issues. The photos showed an extra sleeping area in the room, like a sofa, but in reality, it was a single daybed. It was a bit cramped for a family of four. I chose the hotel for its location, and it was worth it – Siam Paragon is just across the street.

The location is absolutely unbeatable! It's right on the pedestrian street, making shopping incredibly convenient. The subway station is also super close, just a two or three-minute walk away. The only downside is that the room had a bit of an unfamiliar smell that I wasn't too fond of.

This hotel's location is super convenient! It's right across from Paragon, and getting to IconSiam is just a quick metro ride and then a boat, which I really appreciate. I actually stayed here last time too and always recommend it! There's so much to do and see around here. Super happy with it!
