The location, service and general room was ok, but the smell from sewerage in the canal was overwhelming in the room we had. You get used to it after a while, but using the bathroom was intense on our sense of smell. Unfortunately one of the nights it was through the room and that was quite uncomfortable for a time. We are unlikely to stay here again for that reason.

We stayed for less than a day. I chose the hotel because of its proximity to Karman Road and soi Rambuttri, and the pier on Chao Phraya. In this sense, the location is good. I also thought that the location by the canal would add a touch of charm. I was wrong about the latter. The stench from the canal was already noticeable when approaching the hotel. It seemed to disappear in the evening, but in the morning it got stronger again.

The staff was very nice, enthusiastic and generous, and helped me upgrade my room. The hotel is by the river and close to Khao San Road. It is prosperous yet quiet. The hygiene is passable, but I also smelled the smell of sewage backwater mentioned in other reviews, and because it is close to the river and there are many mosquitoes, it is best not to open the balcony window. Moreover, the split air conditioner is placed on the balcony, which makes a lot of noise.

We spent three nights there. The hotel is right on a klong near the Chao Phraya. It is very quiet, but everything is within walking distance. The small terrace on the Klong is a dream. The staff is very nice and accommodating. We felt very comfortable there and would come back at any time.
