Great comfortable and clean hotel with nice staff. Good breakfast too. Highly recommend. The staff spoke great English if that helps you and were very helpful. Hotel was quiet and was easy to walk everywhere in town. Price seemed reasonable.

Isla de Banos Hotel is a nice hotel a little off the beaten path in Banos but still within walking distance of the town (and grocery stores/restaurants/coffee shops). Our room was large and very pleasant, with a veranda holding a couple of chairs and a table. The bathroom was huge and adequately stocked. The (included) breakfast was good and the coffee was outstanding. If I had to mention one negative (and this isn't specific to this hotel), the dog that was left out all night in a neighboring yard woke us up throughout the night with its barking - Ecuadorians love to leave their animals outside at night and the animals seem to love to bark. Certainly not the fault of the hotel, but annoying just the same. All in all, a pleasant place to stay in general.

Very nice - but a little noisy. The room was fine and we had a little balcony. The shower was hot in the evening but in the morning the hot water was inconsistent, not great when you are in the shower. Also the bathroom noises carried from next door. Breakfast was really nice in a pretty little room next to a small garden, an it was nice to be slightly away from the centre but within a few minutes walking distance.

We came as a group and occupied 5 different rooms. All of the rooms were very comfortable, the hotel staff was incredible and spoke English, and the spa treatments were easy to order and cheap. The beds were a little hard, but we found this to be true throughout Ecuador. The price was great for a clean bed, hot shower, and breakfast included.

We stayed at Isla for a few night and were super impressed by the friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms and great food. The Hotel is extremely well located but not noisy, it’s walking distance to everything. The cost was very reasonable but it’s the great staff that couldn’t do enough for us that really make it a great experience. David Gordon. Australia

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. I got some help ordering pizza for dinner from the front desk. Thank you!! I got luggage portage as well. They also stored my bulky key for me while I was out for the day. I retrieved it when I came back in. The room was clean and comfortable. Toiletries are provided. I could have benefitted from a larger waste can, however. The grounds are beautiful too. I went out early for a photo op. The location is good with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Not a true "5-star" property, but a 5 -star all you need in the area! Recommended. I would stay again.

Sehr heimelig ist es im öffentlichen Bereich des Hotels und im Frühstücksraum. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, die Betten sehr bequem. Schöner Garten mit Whirlpool. Spa. Gutes Frühstück. Es ist ein Katzensprung in die Altstadt und zum Thermalbad. Dabei ist das Haus aber ruhig gelegen. Das Haus ist nicht unbedingt was für Langschläfer, da nebenan der Schulsportplatz liegt.

El hotel me gustó. Habitación amplia, desayuno abundante. Tienen servicio de lavandería muy asequible. Le falla tener un colegio al lado, se oye mucho ruido, y nuestra habitación tenía tragaluces por los que entraba la luz desde bien temprano dificultando en descanso.
