"A great hotel with a fantastic ground floor. The front desk staff were particularly welcoming, and breakfast was good. However, there's a significant drawback – perhaps it was just our room, but there was no wardrobe or even a single chair, just a hook on the wall and four hangers. This was very inconvenient. The table was incredibly small, with just a pouf, barely fitting a laptop. On the plus side, the bed and pillows were comfortable. Another thing to note is that the ventilation or air conditioning runs constantly and cannot be fully switched off, so be prepared for some ambient noise. The location is excellent, making it easy to get anywhere. Both the Old Town and the city center are just around the corner. We were very pleased to be given a room overlooking the inner courtyard, which was very charming. There's a stylish cafe inside, and it was wonderfully quiet. The windows, by the way, are excellent at blocking out all noise!"

"Had an awesome stay here. I arrived late night but the security guard came out to help me with my luggage, which is rare and gave me the directions to my room. Everything was self check in so it was very convenient just to go straight to my room and call it a night after a long flight. Staff was also very helpful at front desk to accommodate me with the same room because I ended up extending my stay. Would definitely recommend and book again next time too."

Regarding the facilities, nice gym and swimming pool. However, TV remote control was not working, the USB plug was not working and the door of the balcony didn’t function well…."

"Our stay at the Continental Hotel in Bucharest was mostly pleasant and comfortable. The hotel itself is well-maintained, offering a great ambiance and excellent amenities. The food served at the restaurant was delicious, and the restaurant staff were warm, accommodating, and attentive to our needs.
However, our experience at check-in left something to be desired. The female front desk staff member we interacted with was not particularly helpful. When we asked if the tap water was safe to drink, her response was dismissive, stating she didn’t know and suggesting we purchase water from the hotel instead. Similarly, when we inquired about the possibility of an early breakfast due to our early departure for a day trip to Peles Castle, she was uncooperative and rigid, insisting breakfast was strictly served at 6:30 AM.
Thankfully, the restaurant staff went above and beyond. When we arrived at 6:15 AM, they graciously opened the doors early and welcomed us, allowing us to grab some food before we left. Their professionalism and kindness turned around what could have been a frustrating situation."

"I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect—just a few hundred meters from the express bus route 100 from the airport, and right in front of a major metro interchange station. There’s also a bus stop conveniently located right in front of the hotel. Unirea Shopping Mall is within walking distance, and it’s situated in the heart of Old Town Bucharest, making it easy to explore the city on foot.
The area is vibrant, with plenty of bars and halal restaurants just behind the hotel, offering a great variety of dining options. The room was exceptionally spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, featuring a great view and even a coffee machine for added convenience.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations with its prime location, modern amenities, and accessibility. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers!"

TTree136Great location - within 10-15 mins walking distance from most of the main sites. There’s also a metro station about 4 mins walk for visiting the other sites. It’s also a 4 mins walk to the meeting points for most tours.
Hotel room - double bed was actually a double bed! :) Not two singles put together. Good amenities provided such as disposable slippers, shower gel, separate shampoo and conditioner, hand gel, body cream, face towels. Surprisingly no bathrobe was provided given the Hilton name but still a good hotel room overall.
Cleanliness - generally clean but have knocked 1 star off because a couple of the towels had other people’s hair on them when I arrived. However these were replaced with clean ones during room cleaning.
Staff - good level of spoken English and understanding. Most of the staff were friendly. They were able to accommodate my request for a quiet room.
Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for its convenient location.

Opened in 1886, the building is beautiful, the rooms are luxurious, and it is located in the city center. It is only 10 minutes walk from the Victoria Plate, where you can take any means.
We didn't eat them because breakfast (not included in the booking) was too expensive (€17 per person), so we eat in the bars near the hotel.
In general, I would return to it. :)

PPHILLIP JAMESThis apartment represents exceptional value in Bucharest. It is located about 10 to 15 mins walk from a metro station, but the nearby tram station is about 3 to 4 min walk from the hotel. With the tram you can get the historic old town in 15 mins. My apartment was on level 7 had excellent views of the large sections of the city. A full size fridge was provided. Bed was comfortable. The air-conditioned system worked very well. However, the TV was very small and all channels were local only. However, with an excellent internet connection (free) all my evening entertainment was via my laptop. There is an excellent and large supermarket just 1 min walk for the apartment - so very convenient for all essential items. On arriving at the apartment there was a locked door, but (with cameras) someone came out to assist. The young man directed to my apartment and gave keys and instructions. He first mentioned there was some problems with the gas, but I would not be using the stove, so not a concern. For the views, the size of the apartment, access to public transit and super close to supermarkets, I highly recommend this option for the price in Bucharest. N
