I recently stayed at the ritz near panagarh toll gate in durgapur. Overall, it was a great experience. The hotel offers comfortable accommodations at very affordable prices, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. However, the location leaves much to be desired. Situated in an industrial area, the surroundings are not very appealing, and i felt uneasy walking around especially for any women in the evening. But that said, once inside the hotel, everything was excellent. It’s a perfect place to stay if you plan to spend most of your time indoors or have specific business in the area.

In-room dining and morning breakfast was also superbly arranged and staffs were very kind and underastanding with a smile always.

PPANCHALAs a touring musician, I have stayed at upscale hotels worldwide, and this might be my favorite ANYWHERE. VERY comfortable, quiet rooms. The facility is beautiful and welcoming inside and out with a sharp, modern design. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool/spa/gymnasium area -with the excellent view, this was a great place to start the morning! The restaurant and adjacent bar are very nice. Most importantly, every single person who works here, whether front desk staff, security, or ***agement, is OUTSTANDING. They take pride in their hotel and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. The hotel is also in a beautiful neighborhood. I sincerely hope to come back!

GGuest UserI have opted for gold category room. The room is small but neat and clean. Suitable for solo traveller. It has a king size bed, well lighted and has a good view from higher floor. The restaurant and bar are located on top floor. Food at restaurant is good as well as tasty and quantity is also good. Staffs are courteous.

PPANCHALThis charming hotel is located very close to the airport. The staff is very warm and friendly and takes good care of their guest. The rooms are clean and spacious and reminded me of 5 star properties from back in the 90’s. A good place to host weddings as they have ample of space to organise all the various functions etc.
Only and biggest drawback is the layout of the hotel. I really really recommend the owners/management accommodate another lift and staircase lobby as the hotel design is such that the rooms are quite far away from the main lift lobby and becomes a hassle to travel from one end to another

GGuest UserGood & clean rooms. My Deluxe room AC didn't have remote control or climate control panel & room got excessively chilled in night. Rest was good. Breakfast had idli, meduvada, sambar, chutney, fruits, bread & omelets,poori-subji & tea/coffee. Durgapur is bit warm as compared to other north cities (I came on 2nd March).

GGuest UserI had booked a very budget friendly standard AC room for single occupancy, it's a small cozy room sufficient for one person with attached bathroom, TV, AC, large mirror and a small wardrobe. They provided a half liter water bottle complimentary and promptly served me a hot cup of tea and two biscuits on request. Since, I was already too tired to go out to get anything, they arranged for a guy who took my order and got me all my stuff and took a minimal delivery charge. Their staff Nimai is a very genuine person who paid for all my stuff in cash from his pocket and asked me to pay back just once only when he was leaving for the day. The hotel is clean, lobby smells good and even has a public urinal incase if someone has to use after checkout or before checkin and to my surprise, even that was clean and nicely maintained. They give clean towels, 2 thick blankets, soap and shampoo. Overall I had a peaceful night after a tiring day just the way anyone would want. Since the hotel is on the service road to GT Road, I was saved from the noisy environment at bazaar which is 200 mts away from this hotel. Thank you Nimai, you're doing a fabulous job 🙏🙏🙏
