We fell in love with this place to stay, this most hospitable home and the sincere host, very sociable guy Michele. This house belonged to his grandparents, just beautifully renovated, with beauty, coziness and comfort. Clear instructions for self-check-in. This guest house has 2 apartments over several floors, we booked these 2 apartments for 4 people. We owned the entire guest house. It was spacious, comfortable, quiet to sleep. The stairs was not scary for us. Everything you need is in the kitchen. In the morning the host came and prepared, served us a wonderful breakfast. The location is ideal, near the famous cathedral, in the center of the old town. We didn't have time to use the beautiful terrace at the top of guest house, because of one night we had. We were thrilled to find great wines to taste and to buy in the fridge from Michele's parents' vineyard. The host ordered a taxi for the trip to the airport. Grazie mille, when we come back to Bari - only here.

Nicely updated room and bath in the historic district of Bari. Our host was very welcoming and helpful and provided a very nice breakfast. He also gave us great suggestions for restaurants and called us a taxi in the morning. High ratings for the host. The challenge of the room is that it was up two very steep flights of stairs with challenging hand rails. The first section had just a thick rope. Was glad we only stayed one night. I would not have wanted to go up or down more than twice. The location was active and lively on a Friday night but with the window closed the room was very quiet. The bed and pillow were memory foam. Good size shower but tight fit between sink and toilet. It was a reasonable value for the price. Not recommended for anyone who is unstable or afraid of heights.

Ein wunderschön restauriertes Haus inmitten der Altstadt von Bari. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt und Shoppingmeile sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Die beiden Appartements sind liebevoll renoviert und alles ist vorhanden. Lediglich die Treppe ist für gehbehinderte Personen nicht geeignet, aber der Gastgeber trägt auch die Koffer nach oben. Michele ist ein toller Gastgeber, macht ein wunderbares Frühstück, gibt Tipps und steht für alle Fragen zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Tipp: Wer mit dem Auto anreist, muss wissen, dass die gesamte Altstadt von Bari eine ZTL Zone ist. Wir sind mit dem Mietwagen zuerst auf den Parkplatz Via Ruggiero il Normanno gefahren. Dort kann man für 1 Euro pro Stunde bis 20 Uhr parken, er liegt nahe am Hotel. Nach Abgabe der Koffer bei Michele haben wir das Auto im Parkhaus SABA Porto Bari abgestellt. Dieses befindet sich ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg vom B&B entfernt. Das Parkhaus habe ich vorher online mit ParcClick für 3 Tage gebucht. Es hat alles gut geklappt. Wer die Easypark App hat, kann sie übrigens auch in Bari und anderen italienischen Städten für das Parken am Straßenrand (blaue Bereiche) gut nutzen.

Ci siamo sentiti accolti e coccolati in questa particolare mini struttura, ideale per un soggiorno a Bari. Tutto è vicinissimo, raggiungibile a piedi, e il silenzio del vicolo (insieme alla confortevolezza del materasso) permette un sonno meraviglioso. La colazione è ricca e abbondante, e la camera al secondo piano molto bella. Grazie a Michele, ottimo padrone di casa! Il B&B dei Cardinale è un posto in cui tornare!!

Bellissima esperienza in una location in posizione davvero strategica (praticamente di fronte il Duomo di San Sabino) in cui è stato sapientemente coniugata la cura a mantenere tutti i connotati caratteristici e storici dell'edificio al confort con i dettagli curati in maniera quasi maniacale. L'edificio è un cielo terra con le due stanze ai piani superiori raggiungibili da una scala caratteristica che parte dal pian terreno dove è presente l'area attrezzata per la colazione; dalla stessa scala si raggiunge poi la terrazza anch'essa molto caratteristica e curata. Davvero esemplare la cordialità, l'ospitalità e la simpatia di Michele, l'host della struttura che ha reso questo soggiorno davvero piacevole e ci ha trasmesso completamente l'ospitalità di questa bellissima parte d'Italia. Ci torneremo sicuramente e nemmeno a dirlo, consiglio davvero vivamente questa struttura.

Le logement proposé par Michele est très joli, un immeuble ancien restauré avec beaucoup de goût ! Il est très bien situé, à deux pas de la Cathédrale, de la Basilique San Nicola et du Château Souabe. La terrasse sur le toit, à l’ombre d’un magnifique clocher, est un lieu rêvé pour prendre un apéritif ou un café ! Michele a été un hôte particulièrement arrangeant et agréable. Il est venu nous chercher à l’aéroport de Bari. Notre avion était prévu à 23.35 mais nous avons atterri avec 30 minutes de retard. Non seulement Michele s’est montré très accueillant malgré l’heure tardive mais à 8.00 le lendemain matin, il était sur le pont pour nous servir le petit déjeuner ! En prime, il nous a fourni beaucoup d’informations pour notre visite de Bari, une très belle ville (soit dit en passant). Merci encore ☺️
