Those looking to take advantage of the region’s pleasant climate will enjoy use of the terrace garden or reduced rates at a local golf course. Free parking is available for guests 164 feet from the hotel.

Beautifully restored old convent building. Large terrace in front. We arrived early but our room was ready. The room and large bathroom were both spotlessly clean. Everything looked new. There was a small safe, but no fridge. Our room faced out onto a busy street but there wasn’t a sound from 22:00 until 08:00 next morning. No internal noise either, but it wasn’t busy. My only quibble: the AC didn’t cool the room. This was just about OK in drizzly mid-May, but I would not want to stay here in high summer. But, outside of summer, we would definitely return. I didn’t appreciate getting an email after I had checked out saying “You forgot something” in the heading. This was a clumsy attempt to get me to answer a survey. Not impressed.

We just loved this hotel. It's in the centre of town, but just a short walk to any restaurant and several beaches. Wonderful calm and quiet rooms, nicely decorated. But the staff were excellent and so helpful, telling us about the best local beaches (within walking distance) and some great restaurants. Without exception every member of staff were welcoming and helpful. Excellent value too!

A very pleasant stay in LLanes which was tainted when 7 of us staying at the hotel and two other friends went for lunch at the hotel. Although we were the only people there and our friends were delayed we proposed to start. For some reason the waiter started to give attitude, perhaps as we were chatting in English but was then shocked when my Spanish wife spoke to him. His reply forced her to find the manager who was outside and have not heard the waiter. The manager was not interested and said he did not want us there although he had no interest in questioning what had happened so we all left. All together a very distasteful experience.

The Don Paco hotel in Llanes is a gem of a hotel - fabulous location just at the edge of the busy area, lovely old converted convent, rooms are comfortable. The best part was the friendliness of every staff person . All of them spoke English and didn’t mind doing so. Jaime was so very helpful. Not sure if he is the owner. There were a couple of other gentlemen who were also so helpful. Very kind and attentive . The restaurant recommendation they made was fabulous. ( el Campanu) Highly recommend this place.

Of all the hotels we stayed in during our cycling tour across northern Spain, this may have been our favorite. Family-owned and managed, everyone went out of their way to see that our needs were met and we were happy with our accommodations -- especially Marianne when we checked in. Our room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great and breakfast was superb. Our bikes were safe in the nearby "locker." It's worth walking around the interior of the hotel, beautifully decorated. And strolling the path above the cliffs to view a long stretch of the ocean.

The most wonderful region for biking! Best breakfast I have ever had. The bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect. We enjoyed wandering about the lovely city of Llanes. The hotel staff was wonderful and our stay was fabulous.

My husband and I have recently stayed at this charming well located hotel in Llanes. We had breakfast here both days and (mainly due to a lack of other options in the town - Dia de La Madre) also dinner. The “Tasting Menu” was very good value and included wine, water and coffee with the meal. We were offered a €5 voucher towards dinner on both days as residents. Quality of locally sourced food was excellent. The bar and restaurant are situated in a stunning historic vaulted area. At one end, gold stars are painted on the ceiling. Sadly being May, it was slightly too cool to enjoy the terrace and garden this time but it looked clean, tidy and very welcoming. Whilst our room was lovely, the hotel was centrally located and the food excellent, what really stood out for us both was the staff. Every member of staff in the hotel was professional, friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to make your stay perfect. We were even given a bottle of mineral water as we left for our taxi to Bilbao. A special “shout-out” to Mariôn, on the Reception desk who patiently let me practice my Spanish and even helped me with some useful words - muchas gracias a usted. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel…

A very nice hotel. We had a spacious, quiet room looking over the park. Huge and very comfortable bed, large very good shower, plenty of wardrobe space & a sort of clever desk arrangement. Communal areas were elegant and atmospheric with a nice terrace so you could sit out for breakfast or a sundowner. Staff are very friendly and attentive. We had breakfast included, which was typically Spanish but there was also granola (which they call muesli), yoghurt and fresh fruit on offer & eggs however you liked and bottomless coffee, nice local preserves and to our delight, plentiful fresh squeezed orange juice. We booked the romantic dinner which was a good meal with drinks included and made a very pleasant experience. Good location at the quiet end of town and near the little beach which we enjoyed. Ample parking, we had a hire car but didn’t use it all the time we stayed here as there is a huge choice of bars & eateries nearby & Llanes has everything you could want for a small seaside town.
