The Three Hills

The booking was easy to handle. The food was delicious, the room clean and cosy and well heated, the hospitality was friendly and warm, the location set in a beautiful area, it was an amazing stay. We will come back for sure in another season time.

Very comfortable room in the guest house, only improvement woukld have been too build everything a foot budget all round! It was very very warm in the room but that's better than getting cold! Communication was good and we were well looked after. We would return.

Nice little pub/restaurant with rooms, food superb , beautifully cooked and with a different twist . Apart from one very miserable tall young male , the staff were excellent . The chef came round to speak to the customers at dinner and was very chatty , he also appeared at breakfast the next day and spent time with guests , nice touch , the lady serving breakfast was also very nice and friendly. Pleasant room with great shower . My criticisms , I emailed to say it was my husband s birthday and could they just mark it in a small way , I received an email acknowledgment to say something would be done , but this was forgotten and when raised , was advised by , I would guess the Manager or owner , I get lots of emails ?? Would be good if breakfast could finish at 10 rather than 9.30 Will definitely visit / stay again .

A really enjoyable evening again at this fantastic pub. The food here at the moment is exceptional. A great menu which is changed regularly, and has great specials. As always local game with a twist, and fantastic fish. Very good atmosphere. Good service. Partridge tempura with sweet chilli sauce was one of the best ideas. Really delicious, moist and crunchy. The special fish dish was Sea bass fillet with Goan curry sauce and a potato rosti, absolutely fantastic and a lovely change from usual fish menus. Fish pie is really good with huge prawns and scallops inside. The guineafowl also very delicious. The starter of Pigs cheek with cauliflower Bon Bon and apple was very well received as a main course for an older lady with a smaller appetite. As always a very good wine list too! Unfortunately we were too full to order pudding, but the menu looked great. Thank you to all the kitchen team and front of house for another lovely evening.

We had a wonderful overnight stay here. Arriving after a long journey, the room was warm, cozy and clean and even classical music was playing softly. There were extras everywhere. The dogs got their own bed, pillows, bowls, treats and blankets. The humans had water waiting on them, a wonderful coffee machine and fresh milk in a wee fridge. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities were good as well. We can definatly recommend a stay here and we will make sure to stay longer the next time we are in the area.

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay at this outstanding establishment. It is a cross between a pub and a hotel, and achieves excellence in both categories. The room was very tastefully furnished, and was warm and extremely comfortable. The dinner was excellent; delicious and served by delightful cheerful and helpful staff. This theme continued the next morning with a really good breakfast. I would have preferred a real cask ale to the beers on tap, but that did not detract from the enjoyable time we had. I highly recommend staying at The Three Hills
