Clean, friendly .great place .Great price . Highly recommend. Will return

Cushions very hard so not a comfortable night. They let a drunk in around 12.30 at night who then spent half an hour walking around the hallways on his mobile. He woke us and many others up until I got dressed and approached him. He abused and threatened me, then another man came out of his room who managed to calm him down and took him to his room, on another floor. Surly reception should have escorted him to his room from the start, it was obvious he was extremely drunk and needed assistance but he didn't want it from me. With this and the hard pillows, not a good stay. We have stayed numerous times before as we come to visit friends and relatives in the area and have never had cause to complain before.

Very good hotel rooms are always clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and lovely. Been staying in his hotel for nearly 5 months. Haven’t got nothing to complain about. Would recommend to anyone coming to Essex and staying here. Very, very good.

Perfect in every way. Very lovely lady on reception who was so pleasant and welcoming. Very comfy bed. Heating controls easy to use. Clean bathroom and bedroom was spotless. Fabulous stay even though it was just for one night. Would recommend

Nice comfy beds and great staff. The stay was let down by the cleanliness of the hotel. There was also plate with a knife left outside on one of the tables for the whole two days we were there. We also saw a mouse scuttle across the sticky breakfast room floor. The plates and glasses were also quite smeary with grease.

The room was perfect adjoining with friends, the reception staff were first class, very helpful, very friendly and professional throughout. The lady in reception on departure in the morning could not be more helpful when organising a breakfast for our group and parking for our stay. Thank you and definitely be having another visit at this wonderful hotel.
