Stayed last minute and booked via Trip, the hotel is dated, everything worked fine, but on the night we arrived the bar was closed, you could order from reception and sit in the dining area? not ideal, they had a private event in the bar area and the disco in the hotel was loud, we were on the third floor and could still hear it. A low budget hotel the old adage springs to mind “you only get what you pay for “

Hello. My stay at the Village Hotel Basingstoke was as good as always. P.S. It’s just a little strange that I had to pay an extra 10 pounds when leaving the hotel.

After a great day out, enjoy dinner at our on-site Thyme restaurant, then relax in style in one of our new generation bedrooms, each featuring and impressive 40" flat screen TV, bright, modern bathroom with a large shower head, and brand new, slumber-inducing, king-size Hypnos bed.

The hotel is a row of small bungalows that are also very quiet. Breakfast is over at 9 o'clock, and if you have the habit of sleeping late, you may miss breakfast. There is a parking lot.

Set in Basingstoke Leisure Park, with an ice rink and swimming pool just a stroll away, you'll be well placed to keep the whole family entertained. And if you're here to work, we're close to key destinations like Chineham Business Park, too. Plan a big adventure at Legoland. Step back in time at Milestones Museum. Then bowl a strike and catch a movie at Basingstoke Leisure Park. After a busy day, unwind with a tasty meal in our restaurant, and kick back in your spacious room and extra-comfy bed.

Just got back from staying here 2 nights with a friend. We had the best time as our original break was cancelled due to covid. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The rooms were modern and even supplied wine glasses which is quite rare as you always have to ask normally. Blackout curtains, comfy beds and immaculate bathroom. We had afternoon tea, breakfast and dinner both nights. Absolutely stunning food the tempura prawns were tasty and had the duck and pork belly which were just as good. Food was fresh and always hot. Location of hotel was good only 5 min drive into town where we tried out plush nightclub on the Friday night. As covid restrictions are still in place we were still able to go to a club environment drinking cocktails for £6 each and listening to great music. Was open until 3.30am which was amazing due to most places closing earlier still. Will definitely recommend and are go back again!

I was a little bit disappointed staying at the Apollo hotel when I booked, i booked it for two adults and one child and when I got there there was only a double bed, they told me they would put in a single bed for me whilst I was out and when I got back to the hotel at 8:30pm there still wasn’t a bed they eventually at 10pm gave me a camp bed with springs missing for my four-year-old to sleep on I wasn’t happy, so in the end I ended up sleeping on the floor so my daughter could have the bed with her dad, it’s a real shame to see a hotel that I stayed in when I got married has gone downhill, there was a lot of dirty trays in the corridors on the way to the room, but on entrance of the hotel was beautiful,

It feels like a private night in a residential area. The owner and his wife were very kind and kind to me who didn't understand English very much. The stars at night seen from the garden were very beautiful and impressed.
