A wonderful place where you feel very comfortable with Marcus and his team! The jungle room is spectacular, you can look directly into the jungle from the terrace and bathroom. At night you can hear the unique sound of the jungle. We also spotted hummingbirds and sloths ♥️
Location is also spectacular, you can see directly over the water while eating, great pool!
The food is terrific, dishes change every day, lovingly and cleverly prepared - a pleasure!
On my friend's birthday we even got dessert and a bottle of wine on the house!

Gorgeous space. Really chill vibes, comfy beds and the pier to ocean is dreamy. Plus Leidy, Rosario and Sofia made our time even better! We danced funk, and had the loveliest welcome drink, plus everything else they planned was so fun. 10/10 stay so far.

Absolutely stunning location, the perfect place to relax, or use the water slide if you’re looking for excitement. Fun games in the evening, my stay here was sociable and comfortable. The service was impeccable, a special mention to the delightful Joanny, Shari, and Veronica who went above and beyond to make our stay amazing!

I am deeply disappointed by my recent experience at Bambuda Lodge in Bocas del Toro. I had previously stayed at this hostel and had good memories, but this time, as a female solo traveler, I was met with shockingly rude and unprofessional treatment. Despite requesting a reservation, I was denied check-in without any reasonable explanation. The staff's attitude was hostile, and when I tried to understand the situation, they rudely asked me to leave. It was 9pm, dark, we were exhausted, and stranded in an unfamiliar place, yet instead of offering any help, they threatened to call the police. This experience left us feeling unsafe, vulnerable, and discriminated against in a foreign country. As a woman traveling alone, feeling secure and respected is critical, and Bambuda Lodge utterly failed in that regard. I can’t recommend this place to anyone who values kindness, respect, or safety. What was once a cherished destination has now become a place I will avoid at all costs.

Had a great 4 night stay at Bambuda, we all loved the pool area and the food was top quality! Shoutout to Maria and Alee - they were a lot of fun and kept the energy up in the common area The only downside was the bugs but it’s in the middle of the jungle so not much they can do about that
