Spend your day relaxing in nature with birds and deer yet minutes from downtown Bastrop, music, restaurants and Austin. This property is a registered wildlife preserve and habitat. The pond has fish and ducks in it, and we invite you to fish, but on a catch and release basis. Outdoor covered patio with fireplace and TV invites communal fun. Large kitchen, 2 living areas, 2 upstairs bedrooms, 1.5 baths and sun room, give you plenty of space to spread out. Summertime includes a pool overlooking the pond and trees! A 2 person hot tub overlooking the pond is a wonderful way to start or end the day. Be our guests! What a lovely place. We felt like we were miles from anyone. Instead of 10 minutes from Buc-ee’s and 15 minutes from HEB.Plenty of space inside and out to sit and enjoy ourselves. We loved the covered patio with the view of the pond. We spent most of our time there.We cannot wait to come back.

Beautiful house, wonderful kitchen with lots of Cooking implements and containers.
Great place for a Thanksgiving weekend. We brought the food but the house had plenty of space and storage supplies. Setting lovely and very peaceful. The 6 of us could actually all sit together a beautiful table.

Gem of a house
This was a last minute trip for us with the intent of getting out into a bit of nature without a long drive and this was the perfect setting. The pond was lovely and the patio was the great place for the entire family to sit and observe the beauty of nature. Saw some deer and lots of birds!
