Cintai - Coritos Garden Hotel

The place is so serene and relaxing, lots or activities to do like swimming, basketball, baseball or even just walking. The place is enormous that you’ll get tired exploring it. The rooms are extremely clean, and all the staff were friendly and cheerful, they even reheated our left overfoods from Shakeys We also dined at Abadi and the Filipino foods are so yummy and authentic. The turon dessert is absolutely a must try. Will definitely go back again.

There are not many people living there, the scenery is good, the swimming pool is a bit dirty, there is no beach, it is full of rocks, it is suitable for quiet couples, there is nothing to play, you can only stay in the room, it is not very convenient to do other things.
Holiday Inn & Suites Batangas Limapark

It is important to note that we strongly advise potential guests to consider alternative options. It is disheartening to see that a hotel with so much potential places less emphasis on customer satisfaction and providing high-quality service. Please consider this before making your decision. My wife and I were interested in booking one of the Lima Park Hotel venues, so we contacted to inquire about rates. However, the responses we received could have been more helpful and brief, which suggested that the staff were not interested in accommodating our needs. As a result of our poor experience, we have decided not to book our vacation at Lima Park Hotel. We hope that the management at Lima Park Hotel will take the necessary steps to improve their customer service standards and demonstrate a genuine commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience.
SanTomas Suites

Planned a road trip to Padre Pio Shrine and found this hotel via Tripadvisor, which is the nearest hotel to the shrine. The check in was fast, front desk staff were accommodating and helped with our bags. We reserved two suite rooms and both were spacious, with king sized beds. it was lovely! No other restaurant in he hotel except for the Japanese one in the first floor and my kids wouldn't eat there so I asked if there were other restaurants in the vicinity (since the hotel is inside the First Philippine Industrial Park, it was very clean and it reminded me of Clark), and I was told there was a restaurant in Microtel Suites just a few blocks away. My children also asked if there was a pool and we were told the pool in Microtel was shared with Santomas Suites. Isn't that a little bit awkward? We might as well have booked in Microtel?!?! But anyway, my parents loved the big, spacious room and we were able to go to Santo Tomas proper and there were a lot of food choices there anyway, so that's okay. Also, I would like to mention that everytime we went out, the guard is just sitting in his chair, not even opening the front door. And that was several times. So I guess opening the front door and greeting hotel guests is not part of his job description??? All in all, the suite rooms are very good with all the amenities and we loved it! just be prepared to go out of the hotel (no room service) and into town proper for food and other things.
The Oriental Luxury Suites Tagaytay

We stayed at this hotel (Kanchanaburi room) last weekend for our wedding anniversary. Location is very accessible and just an hour and a half drive from Manila. A bit hesitant at first (due to covid outbreak)but we still decided to push through with this booking and I am very glad that we did. PROs: - [ ] Friendly staffs ( check in and out were very fast and smooth as I guessed we were the only guests that time) - [ ] Kind guard (always willing to assist during parking and going out of the hotel. One minus point though is that when we asked him the way to Sonya's Garden, he pointed us to the opposite direction. We won't be mad anyway has he told us he did not know it.) - [ ] Breathtaking Taal view. I guess this is one of the reasons why the hotel price is on the expensive side. Super nice view of Taal by the pool which we maximized during our 2D1N night stay. - [ ] Delectable and yummy breakfast. I so looove their breakfast spread. You can choose between Filipino and continental food. - [ ] Exclusivity and romantic feels. Hotel has only 7 rooms hence you really feel the privacy when you decided to stay here. - [ ] Welcoming and Friendly hotel vibe. Everyone greets you upon arrival. They even prepared a ”Happy Anniversary” banner with flowers design in our room which is really nice. Welcome drinks await you upon check in. CONs: - [ ] Garden/pathway does not look well-maintained. - [ ] Bedsheet/comforter from our room has dark stains. - [ ] Drainage from the shower area is clogged. Took time for us to finish taking a bath bacause we had to wait for it to drain before trying to shower again. - [ ] No in-house restaurant. Not much of a negative for me since Tagaytay has a lot of nearby restaurants. It is very well compensated with the yummy breakfast spread that they served us during our stay. - [ ] Minimal amenities. There is a billiard(?) table and a pool. I suggest to add more amenities to attract more guests. - [ ] Door lock and key are very hard to use. Took us time to get the key after locking our own room. They should use key cards onstead. - [ ] Hotel is located in the highway hence all the car's noise can be heard. If you are not a heavy sleeper then this hotel is not for you. As for our case, we did not mind since the view is what we were after. - [ ] Too expensive for the stay. We paid 7500 PHP (around 150 USD) as we availed their fully vaccinated promo. Original price starts at 200 USD. Should they made it around 5k per stay then I think price is fair. Overall experience is awesome except for those negative points. We will surely visit again should they have another promo for customers :)

Value for money - 2/5 was not that great of an experience Location- 5/5 nearby restaurants and convinient stores Amenities- 3/5 -lacking maintenance in some areas Staff -4/5 they are all nice, no issue Food- 3/5 pricey for the servings and taste The room we got didn’t have a smartlock yet we were given just a card key. So we had to go back to the reception area and line up to get normal key. -the water in our ran out in the afternoon, can’t shower or flush. It took a couple of hours for it to be back. The staff said they are still filling up the tank! -I am a bit surprised. -No towels provided for use! ( but has provided shampoo -which was not enough since we were family of 5) enough soap and disposable toothbrush. - the restoom in our family room didn’t look like it matched the price we paid for. It wasn’t maintained. Looked like a cheap motel bathroom. Good thing they have heated shower. - Our balcony sliding door is faulty, it has broken lock and broken sliding mechanism. You have to carry one door while sliding it ( huge safety and hazzard concern!) there was already a feedback about this by other guest who left a review, yet it was not addresses - Their common restroom at the pool area stinks big time ( seemed like no one is maintaining and doing rounds during peak hours) referring to the common rest room of their biggest pool -our room and bathroom also had a funny weird smell. Not that it stinks. It was just weird. Our beddings had those weird dusts as well not sure what those was but tdefinitely not neat. Good thing they have: -Gcash payment at the restaurants -Other activities offered -ref,cups and kettle in the room -lush gardens But sadly, wont come back until they improve.
