Baymont by Wyndham Batavia - Darien Lake

This hotel is so nice on the inside! The front desk area, breakfast area and the rooms are absolutely beautiful. Everything here is brand new which is a huge plus as well. The staff is all very polite and helpful as well. I recommend staying here if you need a place to lay your head at night while traveling! You won’t be disappointed.

If there was a way of giving this place a -5 I would do it. Checked in and found a dead mouse in the toilet. I know Super 8's are cheap and with this hiking trip I've tried to keep it as inexpensive as possible, but there is a limit for everything. I would suggest Wyndham remove them from their system, since it leaves a poor impression on an otherwise good hotel chain. In my personal opinion, I will STAY AWAY.

we will never be back to this motel. It is obviously in a state of turmoil as they don't have enough people to adequately staff the place. My wife was very unhappy with the lack of cleanliness. It's always a crapshoot when you book through various websites and now I will only use the top-shelf chains, just to be on the safe side.

Rooms gross property is a mess moldy vomit in sinks rooms not made and pictures off wall floors wet from ac or leak of some sort smells of mold and mildew don’t advise going to this motel management even charges you for room though you weren’t there

Not really sure how to rate this hotel. I gave them a 3, but it's really more a 2½. The hotel has definitely seen better days BUT the night manager who checked me in was helpful and courteous. It was confusing though on where to find him (adjacent motel) and then where my room actually was. The room itself was adequate and clean. Most importantly to me, it was cheap ($70.92 with taxes)! I might stay here again if just needing to crash for the night.

The door locks to the outside were taped open, the very first inside door you came to looked like it had been kicked in by the police. You had to walk in between hotel buildings to find ice. You had to follow signs on the doors like a scavenger hunt to a completely different motel just to locate the office to check in The floors were filthy, walls were gross, there were red stains on the walls (blood?) The towels, sheets and bedspread smelled like piss and there were so many stains on the chairs that you had to take the pillow cases off the bed pillows just to sit on them. I little felt like I was in danger from the clientele, the air and the non sanitary nature of the entire place. Never again!
