Once again I stayed at the Bath Travelodge Waterside and had a restful night. One of my favourite locations and very pleasant.

Ground floor next to the busy road junction - privacy and noise an issue - surely the virtually empty hotel would have been able to give us a better-located room, particularly with being advertised as 'waterside' but nothing on the booking page stating that this would be unattainable at the standard rate. Otherwise, location was excellent for walking into Bath Centre. Parking should be free...carpark is for guests only, within the property grounds, so why is it chargeable? Staff very friendly and helpful.

Does what it says on the packet! Comfy bed, clean room, great location and friendly staff. I am never keen on buffet breakfasts but they do it better than most! My go to place to stay when visiting Bath.

Excellent customer service - room clean and warm - good breakfast - staff made it feel very comfortable not just a bed for the night. Nothing was too much trouble - all the staff I came in contact with were happy and professional - a customer had a panic attack in the restaurant and the staff were amazing

We enjoyed a 2 night stay. We were pleasently surprised by the room. It was light,airy and clean. We looked into the main road which was busy at rush hours and had to remember to close the curtains when getting up so as not to scare the poor driver's stuck in traffic!!! All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had drinks in the large bar/restaurant area. Happy hour 5-7pm 2 glasses of wine for £7.50 a bargain. Two nice pubs across the main road Ring O Bells and The Ram. Very close to railway station and a lovely walk along the river into the centre.Thanks to all staff for a lovely stay.

Room was clean and well presented but it was cold and heating kept turning itself off. The bed I found uncomfortable and it was made with the duvet opening at the side rather than the bottom which was annoying. Room cards stopped working twice in 24hrs quickly sorted but again annoying. Bar cafe was good for breakfast and few drinks in the evening. Bar man, I believe his name is Max was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great location, short walk to station and in to the town.

Unfortunately the Fire alarm went off at 4am and there was no hot water in the morning. Customer services gave me a helpful explanation regarding the fire alarm when I emailed them though. On a positive note, the barman serving in the evening was very friendly and helpful.

Aweful place. Stay at own risk. Long wait to check in, only one person available. Fire alarm went off at 4am. No communication from staff at all about what was happening and why. Question their safety policies and training. No hot water. Dated and needs a refurbishment.
