An enclave of 6 small chalets, this pine built accommodation has all you need for a couple nights stopover. The down stairs bedroom is cramped, the up stairs bedroom is on a mezzanine floor, with a 3 foot ceiling, making it totally impractical for any adult to use. It’s compact accommodation with all you need for a comfortable stay. The crew are super friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our hire car and they immediately worked to get us out of trouble. Excellent customer service, THANK YOU.

Great but.... Wonderful tiny house, comfy and cozy but .... Way too expensive for what it is!! We paid same price in top hotel, with bayfront view terrace in Newport. Here instead we got a cozy hospitality fire which would have been nice but for the incessant US101 highway noise (just a few yards off the Not-Sheltered Nook. Houses are one next to the other and other than in the rear fire corner at the back of the house you share the nook space with others . Great place but.... I am pretty sure you can find way better ones around tillamook

Great place to stay near the stunning coast of Oregon, convenient to Tillamook and many other towns. We stayed in house #2 which was very clean and well-maintained (all the homes looked like they were as well). Beautiful landscaping around the complex lots of native plants and many trails nearby . We only stayed one night but definitely would stay longer next time and would definitely stay here again.

This is a cute, cozy getaway. It was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. For those without knee problems, this is a great place to stay! A warning for those with knee problems: the stairs to each unit are fairly steep, the couch (the only comfortable seating) is pretty low and the toilet looks like it belongs in a kindergarten classroom (low to the ground and small bowl). And that's not to mention the steep stairs to the loft in which my husband's head almost hit the ceiling when he was crawling on his hands and knees.

We had such a fantastic time at Sheltered Nook!! The tiny homes are absolutely adorable and so clean! The grounds are beautifully manicured and the vibe is really cozy. We stayed in the Gone Fishing tiny home (home #4). It had a fully stocked kitchen and we were able to cook all our meals here! They even have a BBQ on the porch and a private fire pit out back (including a big communal fire pit in their large grass area!). The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was roomy. I appreciated the internet TV and the provided games in the tiny house. They also have an office that is full of games as well. The Tillamook Bay is a short walk from the tiny homes. You could bring your camp chairs out and just watch the water! The Tillamook Creamery is also just a few minute drive from the tiny homes too. We truly had the best time here and highly recommend it!!

Perfect accommodations. The tiny home was adorable, very clean, and had every amenity one can need. We stayed for two nights, cooked in the first night and were able to eat a healthy breakfast with fresh brewed coffee each day. Kitchen supplies were perfect. Loved having the ability to keep things cold in a full sized fridge. The bathroom also was well supplied, better even than a hotel. Plenty of room for 2 and we didn't need to use the loft space even though it looked so cozy. The grounds are also pretty with outdoor table and chairs. Honestly, a great deal for a comfortable, clean, and livable place to stay. Close to Tillamook factory, Cape Meares and Cape Lookout and saw a great sunset at Oceanside beach (including seeing two whales). Also enjoyed a great dinner at Bay City Kitchen nearby. Hosts were very responsive as well.

This property! Amazing. Beautiful. Peaceful. My husband and I spent a weekend here and were delighted at the cuteness of the tiny houses. And Mark and his staff? They think of everything and are friendly, helpful, and make staying here a pleasant experience. I highly recommend staying here. Walk over to the bay and explore the beach there. Drive up to Rockaway and walk back to the old cedar tree at the Cedar Wetlands Preserve. And then I highly recommend breakfast/lunch at Downie’s Cafe in Bay City.

We visited Tillmook creamery and the lighthouse for the day and needed a place to stay for one night. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The only complaint we had was the house has space heaters and the living room never really got warm (on a chilly February night). Otherwise, house was clean and well appointed with everything you need. We were in #2 and the space around the bed is tight so keep that in mind. Checkin was easy, friendly with good communication regarding checkin and checkout.

We were going up the Oregon coast and we wanted to do the Tillamook Creamery. We looked at hotels in the area, and this one came up nearby. I’d never stayed in a tiny house before and I liked the idea of having our own space that wasn’t a hotel room. Honestly, I like the choice we made and I’d stay here again. The innkeeper Mark was really communicative and he left us instructions for self check-in and check-out. The area itself is really quiet and off the road, so it’s really serene and private. The house itself was real cute too and just the right amount of space for two people. My only real criticism is the house wasn’t as clean as you’d find a hotel room to be. We had the Garden house and the ceiling fans were really dusty and the shower floor was pretty dusty as well. The bed was also pretty uncomfortable and springy, so if I had any advice I’d just say the house could use a new mattress. The water pressure in the shower is really low, too. Those gripes didn’t make it a bad experience, though. Sheltered Nook is really close to the coastal towns like Garibaldi and Rockaway Beach, as well as Tillamook. There is also a Fred Meyer and a Grocery Outlet in Tillamook so if you wanted to cook in the house, it’s easy to get groceries.
