We had such a positive experience at this hotel that we decided to book it again for our last night in the Dominican Republic. The resort is peaceful, featuring saltwater pools, private sea access via a ladder, and crystal-clear waters. A special thanks to Elisabeth, who made us feel right at home and handled our requests with great flexibility and positivity. Breakfast is not a buffet but à la carte, with excellent quality. Amazing sunsets! The location is strategic for visiting Dominicus and Bayahibe. We would definitely return if given the opportunity.

Charming architecture, good beach and swimming pools ...

The Maura typical cabin manager told us that he is no longer working with Trip.com, who only do it with Booking or Airbnb because they don't charge any fees. When we arrived, we told us we had no reservation, we cancel if we had done it at Trip.com, we still wait for the reimbursement of Trip.com and we had to pay for the stay in cash.

I wouldn't repeat it, too many people seem to pass the day. The lines for the buffet were huge. TERRIBLE breakfast and lunch buffet Dinner was like changing hotels, infinitely better Too much noise If you want stressful instead of vacation it's there

The menu of the a la carte restaurants is somewhat limited. The room service food does not arrive hot and last but not least, the most popular drinks run out and are not replaced at once. For the rest, a very good beach, a good atmosphere and impeccable facilities. Very helpful staff

The didn't notice at your platform that electricity should be paid separately. Also, they were asking about leaving a ID ( original one, not photocopy ) at the reception all stay as deposit... quite strange for us , cause is a personal belonging, and everyone must carry his personal document with him( obviously we denied to do this, in our country that's not legal) Anyways the spot was amazing , and wonderful experience
