"Günstige Lage, sehr gute Zimmerausstattung, sauber, freundliches Personal. Man kann sehr günstig in der Tiefgarage parken. Check-in Code braucht man nicht, wie hier beschrieben, außerdem gibt es eine Rezeption, die bis 21 Uhr geöffnet hat. Wieder im Gegensatz zur Beschreibung hier bietet die Unterkunft doch kein Frühstück an. Man kann aber ein solches in der naheliegenden Bäckerei erhalten."
"Good hotel except they got the booking on arrival wrong so house guest and staff vigorously knocked on my door - demanded action- I went to front desk and staff embarrassed - problem fixed - parking fees waived thankyou but……
Aside from this debacle still a good hotel"
"I stayed here for the Bayreuth Festival and would definitely stay again. It's a brand new hotel, only built in 2019 (I think). The rooms were small but modern and spotlessly clean with really good, strong air-conditioning (which is an absolute MUST if you can't cope with hot August temperatures). The location is perfect for the Festspielhaus - only about 12 minutes walk and really close to the train station too. The whole place is bright and modern and there is a really nice bar and seating area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome. My only criticism would be that because the windows only take up about half of the external wall then the rooms are quite dark and you can't see very well if you're trying to work or pack a suitcase when it's not daylight hours. There isn't a wardrobe but some coat hangers attached to the wall at the side of the bed - which meant I had all my long evening dresses on display in the room."
"We spent 2 nights at Hotel Rheingold so we could visit the sights. This was our first stay in Bayreuth even though we have ridden the Main bike path two times earlier. The hotel lies one block from the downtown pedestrian zone and one block from the large shopping mall. There is just an easy stroll to the Opera house and to the Neu Schloss. It would be much more of a walk to the Ermitage. The train station is about a 15 minute walk. The hotel has a secure bike parking closet in the basement garage. For cars the €7 daily parking fee seems good compared to other hotels we've stayed at.
We were in room 302, a double room with king bed located on a corner of the building. When we arrived we were a bit concerned that the ac wasn't working. But within minutes the maintenance man showed up with the controller and got it up and running. He was evidentally checking the ac units in all the rooms on that floor. Otherwise the room would have been very hot.
The room was clean and a reasonable size. The bathroom was also a good size, clean, and there was good hot water. We would have preferred just a shower, no bathtub, but that's just our preference.
As others have noted the breakfast was great. There was hot eggs, bacon, sausage, a variety of fresh breads, cakes, and pastries, cereal, yogurts, fruits, etc. Hard to choose the best things to eat.
We were quite happy with our stay."
"Clean hotel directly in the pedestrian area in the city centre. We liked it. Maybe B@B should set a check-out so that room service and cleaning know when guests are out. Indeed, on check-out day 2 were disturbed by the pulp column and quite early even"

Great
YYunzhongzuoleThe sound insulation effect of the hotel is average, Trip.com customer service should pay attention to this kind of hotel and provide timely check-in information to order customers. A bunch of confirmation emails were sent, and no number could match the confirmation number for self-check-in.
AAbacool authentic hotel, kind people and friendly service. The location is perfect for exploring Bayreuth. Walking distance to lots of museum and the famous opera house. 5-10 min walk to train station if you want to explore other areas such as Nuremberg. I recommend the breakfast. It’s not buffet there is a menu and service so that felt luxurious for “included breakfast.” Very beautiful hotel and town!
AAerzihaimoOld-fashioned villa bungalows, very close to the city center, walk to the festival theater of the Bayreuth Music Festival for about half an hour. Breakfast is OK, there is no one at the front desk, and the staff can be seen at breakfast, which is loose management.
