Stunning views from all directions!! Hike along the ridge to comfy lounge chairs and watch the world go by below. Worth a look in sun, as the clouds roll in (sometimes below) and at night (especially loved watching the trains below all lit up at night). Included breakfast is amazing -- good croissants and bread, wurst, butter, granola, yogurt, hot egg dish, fruit etc. Dinner is a little pricey, ad selection is limited, but it is on a mountain w/ limited access, and it is tasty. Rooms are small, but we were outdoors most of the time. Could be an issue w/ bad weather. Beds very comfy. Rooms very clean and bright. Listening to cowbells jingling, priceless. Funicular from Beatenbucht AND cable car from Beatenberg included. That plus breakfast made the cost very reasonable.

Great place to spend the weekend (or longer). Sleeping at the Berghaus means you can get out of bed and enjoy the sunrise directly, without having to beat the crowds at the cablecar. The restaurant is great and the staff are very friendly. The only disadvantage is the other guests, who do not realize that they should be quiet when coming to their rooms at night. Perhaps a sign in front of each set of rooms about "quiet times" would help? Otherwise, highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I chose to stay in one of the rooms at Niederhorn. It was the most amazing experience watching the sunset from the top of the mountain. The included breakfast the next morning was superb. Would recommend at least a visit, but staying the night made it magical

When the weather is nice, you can experience the magic of the hut in a great setting. Even if the sky is a little overcast, you can still feel comfortable and have a good time. The rooms are small, cozy and comfortable, there isn't much storage space but it's OK. Toilet and shower in the hallway. Breakfast and menu OK, we would have liked something special, e.g. Fondue Chinoise, so you could stay a little longer in the beautiful dining room.

Great mountain hotel. I always like coming back. The price-performance ratio is right. The team that works in the restaurant and hotel is very friendly and motivated. The view and the peace in the evening is amazing. Lots of opportunities for leisure activities such as hiking, sledding, biking, skiing, ski touring, snowshoeing, paragliding. I think it's just great up here. The restaurant is simply but invitingly furnished. There is both a serviced area and self-service. There are deckchairs available on the sun terrace.

The hotel is of course very quiet and in the evenings there are very few people on the mountain without the day tourists. The dinner was excellent and the drinks were cheap. The location is very nice and the staff really great! The buffet for breakfast was very extensive and had very fresh bread, plaited bread, croissants, coffee, juice and much more... The whole stay was very good and the price including the train ride is incredibly cheap.
