Perfect holiday, with perfect accommodation. Hosts lovely. Our flight wasn't due to get in until around 11pm, so after speaking to Stephane earlier in the day, he sent me a video of where the key would be located so we could access the accommodation. Once we arrived we were greeted by a gorgeous building and found we were to be located in one of the apartments behind a huge gated area. Fab space, clean, modern decor but with traditional French feel. had everything we needed and more for our 2-night stay - wish it could have been for longer! Literally a slow 10 minute walk to reach the centre of Beauvais, with beautiful buildings and lots of things to do. We stumbled across the street market with fresh produce throughout. Visited the cathedral and wandered about, grabbing coffees, lunch and drinks throughout the day and evening then wandered back to La Salamandre to again sleep in the huge and extremely comfortable bed. Could not fault our stay, we will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A gem of a place. Quirky and full of charm. Breakfast plentiful with a good selection. Had a fantastic 2 nights stay. Comfortable bed, lovely shower. Location out of the centre suited us. An easy walk to the station bus to the airport at the end of the street.

Stèphane was very welcoming and helpful. Nice and clean with lovely bar and gardens. Nice big room and shower. Close to the airport (beauvais) Close to beavais centre, nice place with plenty of bars and restaurants, would recommend visiting

We stayed in La Salamandre in April 2023. The place is nicely and uniquely decorated and the room (junior suite) itself was huge, being 46 sqm. For me the most important things are always the bed, the pillow and the breakfast. All these passed my quality inspection :) As a visitor, one should also take time to enjoy the garden. Short 10 minute walk to downtown and taxi from the airport costs 12,40€ per direction (Uber/Bolt).

What happiness! We have been told many praises of this guesthouse! We went there and we were delighted. It is a dream place, with a very beautiful wooded park where the magnolia was covered with flowers! We occupied the very beautiful and large "feather" room which overlooks both the park and the street side with the cathedral of Beauvais in sight. A large spacious bathroom with a huge walk-in shower, a real treat. The bedding is perfect nothing to complain about. A lot of taste for the decoration, in pastel tones, it feels good! The very hearty breakfast, pastries, jams, breads and fruit juices, everything is there! A big thank you to our hosts for their welcome, their kindness and the little bit of humor. We are delighted to have had the chance to discover this little gem, we will not fail to come back!

Good room but high price for quality level. The common areas are not very well maintained. Wilted flowers in the vases, uncomfortable chairs, a short breakfast, a jar of honey and an empty choco everyone took it in their hands but saw how little there was in it, people didn't use it. Ashtrays not emptied the next morning. There is no doorbell at the entrance so it takes so that we open you because otherwise no one will hear.

une très belle chambre, un accueil aussi attentif que discret, un petit déjeuner savoureux. Un seul regret ne pas avoir profité du jardin. Il faudra qu'on revienne au printemps...d'autant que Beauvais et sa cathédrale tronquée vaut le détour!

Nous avions la chambre « plume », et c’est nullement le charme auquel on peut s’attendre d’après les photos du site. Voir photos non présentées des 2 autres côtés de la chambre. Dans les WC lumière par détecteur de présence qui fonctionne de temps en temps et un seul rouleau de papier - entamé -. Dans la salle de bain les tiroirs du meuble lavabo sont loin d’être nets.. nous n’y avons pas déposé nos objets de toilette. Petit déjeuner: plusieurs tables sont occupées, 2 croissants, 2 pains au chocolat dans une coupe: les premiers hôtes prennent les croissants pour les autres ce sera pains au chocolat, plus le choix.. mais le summum ce sont les petits pots de confiture individuels genre bonne maman qui ont déjà été ouverts et certains à moitié consommés (tous à la fraise, le lendemain tous à l’abricot ) et avec des couvercles très usagés. DANS QUEL ENDROIT EST PRATIQUÉ CE GENRE D’ACCUEIL ? Sûrement pas dans une chambre d’hôtes dite de charme à 140€ la nuit? Il est également noté sur le site: parking. Attention vous devez vous garer dans la rue et parfois assez loin, surtout le soir. Le seul point positif: le lit est confortable mais c’est cher payé.
