We had two rooms and both were in need of an update. The bathrooms were shabby and there was some sort of grey stuff around the edges of the floor by the shower??. The Brewers fayre pub/ restaurant was dirty and the food was greasy and unappetising, staff were overworked and couldn't keep up with the service, no teaspoons, no bread for the toaster etc...only had breakfast there once in a three day stay, waste of money to eat substandard, poorly cooked food, overall not impressed with our stay.

decent size rooms, good facilities, didnt like the location though, middle of nowhere with a actual old school telephone to ring a taxi. regular premer inn vibe. nothing new or special. on the phone the day before they told me their business printer was avaliable but the lady on reception told me actually it had been broken for ages and they just had a reciept printer

Would highly recommend this premier inn. The staff were the best in all aspects. The bed in our room was superb. Very very comfy. There was a great car park, and was always room to park up, no matter the time of day or night. The restaurant was excellent!!@ Thank you premier inn for our stay A+++++++++××

I stay here over a weekend four times a year and have done so for many years. I have always found the staff polite and helpful and the rooms clean, comfortable and perfect as a place to dump my bags and get some sleep. The beauty of a Premier Inn is you know what you are getting - clean, simple rooms and all you could need for a stop over. This weekend I was very grateful for the lovely Michelle in housekeeping who came to my rescue and helped me with an awkward situation. She was professional, kind and super helpful and an asset to the PI team.

Lovely room with windows that open for ventilation and fresh air. More Premier Inns should offer this basic amenity. We enjoyed a cool and relaxing night's sleep as a result. Additionally, friendly staff and smooth check-in. Would definitely return.

Take a tip from me. dont set your hopes even low for this place! We stayed on the Friday before Christmas so we could visit family. The room allocated to us was supposed to be Premier Plus, well I will let you decide about that when you look at the pictures. The receptionist when I booked in didnt even tell me which room I was in, just gave me a key card. When I asked what room I was told top floor up the stairs. I didnt have a clue about stairs, lifts as never been before. The whole hotel did not smell very nice. Only one bedside table in the room so they had positioned an occasinal table with wheels as a stand in. I had requested a bath if possible. Nope, only a shower and no apology. As for the rest of the bathroom, Well I dont think it has been cleaned properly ever. I have added pictures to this review. I will let you decide if that is acceptable. One of them shows the dirt in between the toilet seat and lid! The rest is just dirt, dust and water damage. Also no toilet brush. We then visited the pub next door. It had just gone 21:00. Food was not available! Myself and my sons settled for a drink only for last orders to be called at 21:30 and closed at 22:00! Keep in mind this is the Friday before Christmas! My suggestion is spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

Had to use both sets of pillow for decent head support. Room booked for 2 people, only one set of towels provided had to go to reception to get extras, which they had to go find but at that time the couldn't go, so I had to join family after long journey without a shower!! Heating system was noisy over night and the quilt was so heavy it caused my foot to cramp.

Comfortable bed, well thought out accessible shower / wet room. Room to move around the room with a wheelchair. Wardrobe rail at a level to allow a person in a wheel chair to put clothes on the rail BUT only if less than 2 foot long! Dresses or suits would be crumpled. Free parking. 4/5 But 1) Room temperature and Air Conditioning 2) Housekeeping 3) Breakfast at adjacent Brewers Fayre Advertised as having air conditioning however controls only allowed temperature down to 19 degrees C and only remained on briefly (I suspect as reached set temp). Windows sealed completely so unable to open and get fresh air from outside (which was so much pleasantly cooler during our 2 night stay on the 12th and 13th September 2024). If a fire were to start in the room and block egress from the room door - where is the fire escape? We resorted to wedging our door open into the corridor to allow some cooler air in whilst awake in the room. The shower was used twice and despite the bathroom door being kept closed, the room became unbearably hot for our 2 night stay. The second day we requested a fan and room service and informed reception as the door hanger notice for housekeeping suggests. We did not request a change of bed linen but asked for fresh towels, replacement coffee/tea and mugs/glasses etc plus the rubbish emptying. We returned around 5 p.m after a funeral to find the door hanger still on the outside of the room door. The bedroom bin had been emptied although some rubbish had been left on the carpet. 3 new towels were left on the unmade bed. The bathroom had not been touched. The rubbish bin still full and used towels still left in shower area. No fan. The manager, Lorraine, was brilliant! On duty at reception at this time and she went out of her way to sort out these issues. Personally emptying the rubbish and replacing the bin liners. She brought us fresh mugs etc and found a fan for use on the 2nd night which at least allowed us to get some sleep. We had booked breakfast ('full English') in advance at the Brewers Fayre opposite the Premier Inn. It is served between 06.30 and 10.30hrs. We arrived just after 10.00 hrs. The coffeee machine was broken so instant coffee sachets provided. The breakfast bar was half empty. We were told 'this is it and what is left'. (I wasn't the only customer either). I made a fuss and fresh of the above was prepared - we got a refund for the 2nd day.
