Very nice hotel, staff don't go the extra mile but just enough. Had to mark down due to cracked window and poor view. Close to being 5 out of 5 but I'm gonna give it a 4.5 cos it was nice and I only looked out of the window on arrival

Very nice hotel. Parking was awful drove around for ages to find a spot no luck so had to park next to a skip. Queued 20 mins to check in. On collecting my belongings from car was met by a nasty traffic warden who issued me a ticket. So my free parking has cost me £35 which is a lot to come out of my pension. When coming back from concert at 11.30 my partner and I needed something to eat. Sadly the hotel did not anything to offer and told us to order a takeaway from just eat and have delivered to hotel. There is room service in hotel information book but we was never informed of this. The room was spotless and very nice and the bathroom was fabulous. Also nice to have tea and coffee facilities plus a fridge. Shame about the parking spoil our stay

The location is excellent. went to reception as only 1 towel was in the room. Asked for another set, which was promised to be delivered. Did not arrive. so two people had to use one towel. Breakfast is decidedly average at best

We loved our stay here! It’s a very well designed hotel, with a special history and lots of unique touches throughout. Our room overlooked the river, and had all the usual things you expect from a nice hotel plus some excellent artworks. The only thing to note is that even though this is a spa hotel, the spa isn’t included in the hotel rate- we hadn’t realised that that needed to be booked separately. There were no issues fitting us in though!

Lovely hotel it great location.
Stains and hair on bed when we came into our room and the bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t close. We was also questioned into paying there for our room when it was already paid for. Don’t expect this with the price you pay to stay here.

Very satisfied with the British country style. The hygiene is also very good. The breakfast is too single and needs to be improved. The restaurant floor is sticky and needs to be cleaned. The elevator cannot reach all floors. It is a bit regretful.
