Hotel Sa Punta - Adults Only fr13

Great hotel, felt like a relaxing hospice (the music in the hotel). Very old but that’s the charm. The design of the hotel is really beautiful! They took the old hotel and added luxurious furniture that really complements it, with romantic lighting. I will attach pictures later. The room was large, the parking was very convenient, the fact that there is an electric shutter is really a plus, and the fact that there are two sinks is also nice. The place is clean, but there is an ant problem there. Once we closed the shutter, ants did not enter the room, but there were plenty of ants on the balcony. What really bothered me was that the bed was very hard, the pillows were made of foam and not feathers, and there was no thick blanket, just sheets that served as a blanket. The pool is really nice, but it’s cold and not heated, and there isn’t even a hot Jacuzzi, which is a bit disappointing. There is no gym, which is also disappointing. The breakfast is adequate but very meager; there are no pancakes, a variety of vegetables, or soft cheeses. In my opinion, the price is a bit high for what you get, but the hotel was nice and sufficient for our taste.

Its not often that we feel that we would return somewhere when there are so many amazing places to visit but I think PALS and this hotel could be the first. The hotel is well positioned, albeit up a hill so perhaps not best for those with mobility problems (mostly fine once you're inside), its quiet, restful but close enough to the action if required. You can find a sun lounger with shade cover at any time of the day and being adults only means its quiet and definitely a place to unwind. The food is fab and the fabulous Noelie makes the best Sangria we've ever had...its masterful! Her bouncy personality added to our experience of the hotel plus a further shout-out needs to go to Eric and Elsa - such kind and attentive staff, thank you all for making us feel so welcomed. I didn't get the name of the man on reception who tirelessly helped to make our bed more comfy. My only criticism is that the bed was rock-hard and we both woke with achy backs after our first nights' sleep. We mentioned it and the reception man immediately set about a remedy. He saw us the next morning and instantly asked if we had slept better, it was improved but still not that comfortable so again he responded immediately. That night the bed was padded out and was so much more comfortable. So whilst the original bed deserves a 3*, the service and commitment to our experience deserves a higher rating than is possible here so we agree that overall we had a 5* experience. Beautiful hotel with private spaces or a relaxed bar area for meetings others.

We have stayed at Hotel Sa Punta on several occasions and really enjoy the sea views that capture the Ilses Medes. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, although the decor may be regarded as a little old fashioned. Dinner in the restaurant is very good and the continental breakfast is pleasant. The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk away from Platja del Raco and a few local restaurants - although we bring our car so that we also have the option to explore further afield. This year there had been a change of ownership and the establishment was in a state of transition - we still enjoyed our stay and the staff remain friendly and helpful.

We were very satisfied with the hotel. Everything was what we wished fo…except the breakfast. It was very very basic with empty plates, old bread and making a cup of coffee was difficult most of the time. We were welcomed by a friendly staff. The superior room was spacious with a balcony.

This is a hotel I had to leave. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but this had to be said. I arrived, put down a credit card to check-in. I asked the receptionist for recommendations of what to do in the area, and she looked at me blankly. I asked for a map, and she handed me one of Spain, with the area of Pals barely denoted by a dot. I then headed to my room. The room smelled AWFUL. I walked in and was hit with a wave of chemicals. I couldn't breathe, felt my throat constricting, my eyes watering, and had a headache. I went back down to tell them I couldn't stay. I brought the receptionist upstairs with me. Her response, "I don't smell anything." The cleaning carts smelled of the same chemicals. She told me to open the balcony door - the weather was about 100 degrees, and the air conditioning wouldn't turn on with the door open (plus, there was no air movement). I did not touch the room - didn't even wash my hands. I just told them I could not stay. The manager/owner? bragged that the hotel was well reviewed, he would not give me my money back, even though the room could be re-rented, and forced me to find another place that night where I had to pay a premium because it was last minute. After pretending not to understand English (I speak Spanish and English), his exact words in ENGLISH were, "lady, I am 1000% sure I am never going to give you your money back." Though he could rent the room that night for full price. And stated he didn't care if the room was causing my throat to constrict. A completely disgusting experience, awful management, unfriendly staff. This owner bragged that my review would mean nothing, and that he would keep my money. Please don't go. Don't support an establishment that uses chemicals like this to clean (toxic for you, toxic for their staff), and that refuses to return money for an unused room that a guest cannot stay in because they cannot breathe. For the price, you can get much better accommodations anyway (they were the price of 4-star hotels if you made the booking in time).
