Houhai Area
Initially I was rather not please but the slow check in process, however the hotel soon won me over. This is a rather tiny hotel but it's only 150m from the mrt station. You can walk to houhai and gulou with ease. The hotel has some interesting area like a reading room and it provided free chicken dumplings as supper on both nights. I need to commend on the young male service staff who helped me look high and low for my parcel that was missing. Apparently the seller did not capture my reference and if not for the young man I would not have been able to find my parcel
CitiGO Hotel Sanyuanqiao Beijing

China International Exhibition Center Area
The room is not large but perfectly well equipped with all you need. Spot on cleaning, very travellers friendly room, love the universal plug and bed side switch! Free minibar in your room and mid night snacks at the lobby. Breakfast is mostly Chinese style- carb heavy and lacking variety. Absolutely love the self serviced free laundry and drying in the lobby too! The staff is so nice and gone beyond to assist you! They’re pretty responsive and can be reached with WeChat! The only cons is the room smells like cigarettes which I find it pretty common across mainland China.
CitiGO Hotel, Sanlitun, Beijing

East Second Ring Workers' Stadium Area
Staying in this hotel for the second time, perfect location close to shopping area and nice restaurants. It's clean and good design but something is completely wrong with AC system, it was programmed to heat the room +26C and couldn't be changed. In the end we just turned off AC and opened the window. Strangely for a 4* hotel, there was no tea & coffee in the room although a kettle was provided. No bathrobes either. Breakfast is poor quality.

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen
Amazing stay! Service was excellent as well. Location very convenient! The hotel is a very short walk from the metro station, also located very centrally good for travelling to various tourist attractions. The hotel is located at the entrance of the popular street and there are lots of shops to shop and dine at. There’s a post office nearby and a Lawson right beside. Near the end of the street is a Starbucks reserve. Also two popular streets to explore and shop at. Service was superb, staffs were very helpful and outstanding in providing any assistance towards our requests. Breakfast was pretty good too, there’s slight changes everyday and the supper is comforting too hot wanton soup. Room was overall clean but slightly dusty and basin had a kinda weird smelly smell. But otherwise pretty perfect! We could adjust the room temperature and the tv has many channels to watch. Almost perfect stay that we missed after checking out. Definitely recommended and we would definitely consider staying again the next time we have chance. (:

They outshine others by providing night snack from 10-11pm. We had wanton in chicken soup. The breakfast was delicious and full of variety. The staff is very polite, patient and helpful. Thumbs up for the hotel service! Keep up the good work.

The hotel is smart. We checked in during the day, and the curtains were automatically closed when we went back home at night. The room was very clean, and toiletries were provided. We brought children with us, and snacks were provided. It is right to eat breakfast in the hotel. There are many styles of Chinese and Western food, and the fried dishes and fried rice are all kept at a constant temperature, so they are hot even if we get up late. We booked there because we were going to the Automobile Museum. It is not far from the subway entrance, and the road is relatively straight. It was very smooth to find this hotel. You need to swipe your card to enter the hotel room to go to the corresponding floor. The safety performance is still good. I will book this hotel again next time I go to the Automobile Museum.
