The hotel lobby is very well decorated with art pieces and comfortable chairs and cushions. Room is simple but spacious and has all amenities provided including kids toothbrush and slippers. Location is near attractions too. The only downside is it is location within the hutong and so it’s difficult for didi driver to come inside. Have to walk 10 min out to the main road to hail a car.

We had a great time at the BaiYee Tree art Hotel. It was a little tricky getting to the hotel first, Amap gave us walking directions down an alleyway to the back of the building. Thankfully the neighbors were nice and called the hotel to let us in through the back. It is located in a Hutong in old Beijing near the bustling South Luogu Lane, yet still it is quiet at the hotel. Lots of street food nearby and walkable to the bell tower/drum tower, Confucius Temple, and Lama Temple. Best for people that like walking, It's a little less than a kilometer to each subway station, but still very close to many downtown attractions. Tough to get a driver or taxi directly to the hotel, so you'll have to walk a bit out of the hutong to get one.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful even with the language barrier. Room size was good.
Breakfast is worth it. Primarily a Chinese breakfast with slight changes day to day - all delicious!
Highly recommend if you plan to do a lot of stuff downtown and eat a lot of good food.

This hotel is located in the historic hutong area of Beijing. There's so much to do very nearby. There are loads of food options, shopping and cultural sites. The staff are very friendly and happy to help. They set you up with WeChat on arrival in case you have any concerns while you are out and about. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the bed is super comfortable. A great place to stay! Thank you.

Excellent location, right smack in the middle. Of a hutong, and walking distance to the metro. A bit inconvenient if you come by taxi or didi as the small streets can be closed. Staff very helpful and friendly. Place is clean. Don't expect much from the windows view unless you are on upper floors.

Love the location, right at the heart of Beijing. Nanluoguxiang is a very touristy hutong area. U could walk to major attractions nearby.

Lovely hotel, in a charming very lively part of Beijing. It is very difficult to get a taxi to the hotel though due to the narrow lanes. If you can’t walk very well, that is a problem.

I recommend this hotel to stay in the center of Beijing. It's quite close to the "南锣鼓巷" shopping street, but it's serine the environment of the hotel. Their service is also satisfactory enough. I give my endorsement to stay at the hotel.

I selected this hotel first and foremost for good hygiene, and it was satisfactorily clean (no . It is about 10 minutes by foot to the closest metro station but the surrounding area is very nice so it doesn’t feel long. Service is very good, staff had no trouble serving me as an English speaker (though you might have to use a translation app for complex requests). Amenities is also very good for the price, even a fruit plate was provided. Overall very good hotel for the price payed! Also, if you’re lucky you might get a room upgrade for free ;)
