The quality of accommodation was very disappointing. We had rooms in bungalows, tried to find a better room in any of bungalows, but we were not successful. First of all there was mold in every bathroom of every room I checked. This problem was very overdue, cleaning service didn’t even have the task to solve it. Second major problem was very old and dirty carpet that left black footprints on feet. Those carpets needed very deep wet cleaning, but obviously no one cared. Honestly I think a 5 star hotel can’t have such issues. Reception didn’t have any empathic reaction on these issues when they were shared. I complained three times and nothing was suggested. Only after I said that my kid has asthma and I don’t want him having shower in a bathroom with mold, a higher standard room was offered. This was a room in one of the buildings. However, both mold and dirty carpet were there. As we later heard from personnel, the hotel management is well aware of the issues, but the bungalows are very old and there is no plan of reconstruction in place. Additionally, my kid caught the hand-foot-mouth virus, which means that the surfases everywhere in the hotel could be cleaner. Otherwise, the hotel territory, beach and food were quite nice and corresponding to a good level of a hotel, but still not the 5 star I guess…
